It's almost perfect. Fits the vents in my Chevy Malibu perfectly. Love that you can pivot and angle it easily. Buying another for my husbands car

Been looking for something like this for a while so I can use my phone as a GPS. Works on al the multiple different vents I've tried so far. The ones that suction to the window have never worked for me and the other brand of vent mounts don't work on the vents in my Ford F150 work truck. Very pleased with this and will probably buy a second one for my personnel vehicle so I don't have to keep moving it back and forth.

Bought this for my wife, and she's thrilled with it. Easy to install, and easy to use. Only problem was that when she first placed the plate too high on the back of her Samsung S4 it started acting weird. Moved the plate lower and it works fine.

I bought this for my brother who has a small car, a Ford Focus, and it didn't have a good place to safely set his cell phone. It was a gift that I mailed to him in Hawaii. Unfortunately the vent placements in his car did not easily accommodate this product, so I would recommend, if possible, trying this product on your car's vents first. Otherwise this is a really nice product, and the brackets keep your phone from rotating when attached to the magnet.

We bought this mount for my daughter's iPhone. We worried about her driving and looking at her phone (not necessarily texting, but changing songs or using the GPS). The magnet works through her case and holds the phone while also making it easily accessible so that she can pick up the phone if needed. She has an iPhone 6, and so far no problems.

The idea is great. Why worry about big, clumsy grips to hold onto the sides of your device? Or whether the mount is the right size for your phone/tablet/GPS/etc.? Simply stick the steel plate to the back of your device and go! That part seems to work well, with one exception. If the back of your device is not flat, the plate doesn't sit well. On my Moto X (first gen) the plate is quite obvious and somewhat annoying. The real problem I have with this mount is the vent clips themselves. They don't grip well! I routinely pull the entire mount off the vent when trying to remove my phone from the vent. I can't imagine using it to hold a larger phone or tablet, as I'd be worried the weight would pull the mount right off. I've even had two occasions where the mount has come off while driving, sending my phone flying across the car! Granted, those were while cornering, but my previous vent mount never did that. All in all, great idea, not the best execution. The vent clips DEFINITELY need improvement.

What makes this device stand it from the other vent magnet phone holders is that it has a fold out ledge that your phone sits on. This is great for larger heavier phones like the note 5. The magnet didn't quite hold my phone on other similar products, especially when I hit bumps. I no longer have to worry about it falling off since it has a strong magnet and the ledge is just perfect enough to keep it in place.

I have a galaxy note 5, I thought it would not fit my large phone but it does and it also keeps it secure. I place my phone sideways and it helps to keep my eyes on the road not the phone. Great while using GPS. You have the choice of using it on any of your vehicle's vents. It doesn't slide off of it.

This holder fit my needs for a bracket for my smart phone. I was looking for a way to mount my phone so I could see it when using the GPS function and I wanted it off the top of the dash and away from the sun. It fits pretty well on the air conditioning vent which also keeps the phone cool during hot days. It requires regular adjustment but it is the best mounting bracket I have found anywhere.

Excellent and stable device for holding smart phones while driving hands-free. The rubber pads that hold the device or phone do not stay on the plastic arms. Aside from that this is an excellent and stable holder for smart phones use and hands-free operation while driving. The magnetic plate that slips into the phone cover Creates a very strong grip so the phone does not slip or fall.

I tried out multiple versions of this from different suppliers and this is the only one that I kept. Works well with my LifeProof case. Only modification I made was to put some double sided tape on the vent because my truck had a very slippery surface on the vent and the clamp wanted to come off when I took the phone away from bracket. Works great now. Don't know how I lived without it!

The magnet is strong but it falls out of my Nissan Altima vent clip when I turn.

Mounts easily and securely. I bought 2, one for each of two vehicles and two smart phones, mine and my wife's. I hand to cut the metal plate to a smaller size because the magnetic field interfered with the blue-tooth operation and the display on my wife's HTC phone. By making the plate about half the size and positioning it low on the phone everything worked fine.

I drive for UberLux and greatly depend on having a good phone mount. My 2015 Lexus ES 350 has a deeply set vent which does not fit standard vent mounts. The Lexus dealership sells their own vent mount but there are various problems with it. It grips the phone too tightly making it hard to insert or remove a Galaxy S7 Edge in its case. Also, their mount is prone to breaking. Another magnetic mount I tried did not hold the phone well and it often fell to the floor and the phone wobbled. In contrast, this mount has 2 feet which support the phone and don't allow the phone to fall on the floor. Also, it stabilizes the phone well and makes it easy to insert or remove the phone even with a charging cable attached. I love this phone mount and recommend it highly! So far, I have had no problems with it.

Bracketron does it again! This time with a magnetic holding solution for you phone. Works great in any situation.compact enough that unless you're using it you won't even realize it there. Easy to install and remove too! Buy it! I did and I love it!

I've been using this dock for a few weeks now, and got to say I like it quite a bit. Magnet works perfectly, and I never have to worrying about the phone falling. However, the mount likes to sag from time to time. Not a big deal though, tighten it up and move along without missing a beat. Almost a perfect mount.

This device easily clips onto the vents of multiple vehicles...some better than others. It fit a rental GM vehicle very well. There are some challenges with Honda Pilot. Slats of the vent are a little thin for gripper and location of gear shift restricts potential locations for holder. Still I like it.

This mount works really well. The magnet keeps the phone steady and the clips are strong and stay in place in my vent. You have to play around with exactly where to position it and make sure that you push it far back into your vent for it to be stable, but once you find the right spot, it stays put.

Having tried a number of cell phone mounts of different types, I have found this one provides the easiest-to-use solution. It is secure once firmly installed on the vent, as long as the metal plate that is put in the phone case is attached as well. I have a 6S + with a heavy case, and for the month that I have had the product, the phone has not dislodged once. And as mounts go, with the Bracketron it is easy to see the phone display and to lift your phone off when exiting the car. The key is to firmly seat the brackets and the support into the vent. I would give it a fifth star if I can still make the same comments after a year.
