The suction cup is difficult to make stick to the windshield and resizing the apparatus to the size of your phone is difficult, as well. Once you finally get it set up, you will be frustrated; but, it does what it is supposed to do.

This is a great and useful product to have in your car.. As it helps to keep you hands free while driving... However we bought 2 and one was defective and kept falling apart... However Best Buy replaced it and now all is well!!!

I purchased this because I left my old one in a rental car :( It works great and is easy to set up and use. I do wish it had a bolt or something to keep the cradle permanently affixed to the arm though, you can just pull it off but it's never fallen off on it's own or while I was driving...

Hard to get to stick and stay where you want it. Shakes very easily with vehicle movement even on smooth roads making it difficult to see phone screen. Adequate for holding phone.

The mount came down once the first week but that was entirely because I hadn't set it properly. It would be nice if the arm was a little bit more flexible but other than that, this is perfect for me. My wife and I have different phones so it's great that we can switch out our handsets at will.

I use this for my iPhone while driving. i use it for the navigation. I think it is a useful handsfree aid but it is very irrating to watch my phone shake so much. I had to wedge something between it and the dashboard.

I have a new iPhone 6+ and drive a pick up truck. This mount has a long arm that when attached to my truck windshield reaches to the edge of my dash within easy reach. It also holds my iPhone 6+, even over rough roads.

Very useful to hold my Nokia Lumia 1020, to use it as dash board camera. It has some vibration when you are driving on a road with potholes but the long neck you can bend it in such a way that can very short to the base.

This is a good and versatile mount for "hands free" use of your cell phone / PDA. However, because it has a long "goose neck" it allows much more vibration and road bounce when you are shooting video, compared to other mounts I have used with previous devices. Using it with a Samsung Galaxy S 5 is also very exacting to plug in the vehicle charger / power into the tiny connector at the bottom of the phone. My gut tells me this will be a point of failure at some point.

I transfer from one vehicle to another frequently. This unit is easy to mount and adjust for different cars. It holds my phone securely. The cost is reasonable, and it does what it is supposed to do.

From the moment I mounted this to my car and to moment I started using it, I knew I couldn't live with out it. It is reasonably priced and holds my phone perfectly in its cradle. So I am very happy.

This device does what it was made to do. However, I found that the concept of it's shape made it somewhat difficult to use in some of the slanted windshields of modern cars. It was easy to mount if you didn't use too much liquid to make it adhere to the surface. It held on to the phone quite well and making it adjust to the phone I had was quite simple. I did give this away because it was difficult to find the right place to put it in my car. I have a 2013 Honda. I brought instead one that attaches to my air vent that was much more satisfying for me.

I got this bracket to replace one I have had for some time that broke. I am impressed with how well the suction cup mount works. I've had it attached continuously for two weeks and it still holds firmly. Overall, this is a good choice for the cost.

I drive an F-150 and wanted a phone holder that would keep the phone in front of the dash but would securely hold the weight of a large android. The suction cup for this is strong as is the cradle for the phone. The arm lent itself to a fairly easy modification (with copper and black rubber tubing) to allow the now longer arm to rest on the dash, supporting the phone with the cup secured to the windshield. This is working exactly as I had hoped and allows me to use the phone for navigation as well as through the trucks Bluetooth phone feature.

The quality and design of this mount makes it we'll worth the money. Much sturdier than my previous mount. Loved the flexibility to adjust it in a lot of different ways. It doesn't shake like my last one.

I purchased this cell phone holder with the expectations that it was of great quality. It is of fair quality. The side extension grippers become loose very quickly and there is no way to tighten them. Also there is quite a bit of chatter and noise when driving due to the cell phone holder being loose on it connector to the flexible rod for positioning and vibration of the road. I expected this item to be more sturdy than what it is, but overall it does what it was made to do. I would not purchase another one or recommend it to anyone.

the gooseneck is 9" long, so this holder is especially useful if you want to mount device in center of windshield and you need more than 4 or 5 inches to extend device so that it's parallel to inbuilt dashboard screens/radio controls/etc.

I got this for the long drive to my family for the holidays. Fit right on my windshield and could adjust it so I could view maps and weather reports while driving and not take my eyes off the road. It held steady for the entire 2800 mile trip.
