wanted a stable sturdy heavy-duty aftermarket base for my Garmin, did a lot of research, this one provides everything that I was looking for in a base, with a good price.

Like the product as it gets the GPS off the windshield and down onto the dash where I have easier access to it. Also keep the suction cup circles off the windshield. Suction cup does not fall off the product as much as it did the windshield. The only thing I dislike about it is it sometimes slides off the dash if you turn too sharp.

A number of reviews I read before purchasing this made note that it would not stay in place on surfaces that were not totally flat (such as a dashboard that is curved). I have a slightly curved dash (2010 Toyota Tundra), so I decided to try it. It would not stay in place when cornering in normal city traffic, so I decided to return it. Also, I was using it to attach a mount (suction cup style) for my iPhone 6 and the mount would not stay attached to the base.

the weight made it easy to stay in position on the dash but I had to use pieces of Velcro to attach the GPS.

This is a pretty good dash mount. Like the others we tried it still slips a bit when driving on rougher roads. But overall, works fine.

This product works pretty well. It will slide around the dash if you stop quickly or take a sharp corner but other then that its fine.

This product does exactly what I wanted! It is weighted so it does not slide around or topple off the dash. It hold my GPS where I can see it easily.

The holder works pretty good but if your dash has amorall it will move around. Is use on a 7in screen and it works well.

Holds my GPS perfectly and is heavy and strong along with stays in place as I go on tight turns.

It does a good job as to holding the GPS but it slides in the truck at times.

I bought this to go with my new Magellan GPS unit. It's very stable and doesn't move at all when placed on the dashboard. Assembled, it's a little bulkier than I would have liked, but it does the job. My only criticism is that I would have liked a storage case/carrying case for use in my car when I'm not using the GPS. Other than that, it is great. It's got a nice little notch that keeps the power cord from the GPS in place on the holder.

Wasn't sure this would do what I wanted but surpassed my expectations.

We got tired of our GPS falling down from the windshield. When we saw a Bracketron - Nav-Mat III Vehicle Mount in a friend's car, we knew that was the answer to our problem. The Bracketron - Nav-Mat III Vehicle Mount allows me put my GPS right where I want it, it is easy to adjust and then it stays right where I put it. I love it!

My husband wouldn't let me leave the suction cup mount on the window and it would pop off in the cold weather a lot until the car warmed up enough to really stick and then it didn't want to come off by the end of the trip. I would have left it up so I wouldn't fight with it the next time but OH NO, I had to fight again the next time. So I LOVE the weighted mount.

I purchased this pad to replace one I lost and I do not regret it. The price is a little high but I can over look that because the pad sticks to the dash real well. The size works well for the dash slot and I took it on vacation and used it in a rental care. I had know problems with slipping what so ever.

The use of my phone with hands free is important - this mount really helps to make that possible in a convenient location and easy to reach.

This is a great concept, but even though it is weighted, it's not stable on my older model car, since the dash has a slight angle to it.

I really like the gps base for my dashboard, i do not like to mount the gps in the window, its heavy and does not move around.
