Sticky Dash Pad for Electronics

I bought this for my GPS because it is illegal in CA to mount GPS or phone to front window, and the air vent connectors I have been using block air flow. This works fine. It is pretty stable but when I am making a sharp turn I do have a tendency to reach out and hold it in place as it does slip a little. That said, I can see the GPS screen a LOT better than I could when it was mounted to air vents on center of dash.

I bought this in conjunction with a iPhone grip that was designed for windshield mount. I don't like the sticky residue left on a windshield but this mount is so much better. I can sit it on the dash and move it where I want it or if I don't need it I can take it down. I liked it so much that I bought another one that I put in my backpack or luggage. One word of caution though - if you put it in your carry-on luggage take it out to go on through the security scan. It is so dense that they will need to wipe it down to make sure it's not a block of explosive material. When I take it out and send it through on the belt by itsself I usually don't have any problem.

I bought this to mount our Rand McNally GPS to the dash of our Semi truck. The GPS came with a suction cup mount that fastens to the windshield, but it was obstructing our view. Also we would have to take it off of the windshield at night because it was in the way of our privacy curtain. I was very delighted with this product. It does not slide around on the dash and the suction cup on our GPS mounts right up to it without any problems. I wasn't sure if it would really hold our navigation system, but it does a great job and we are pleased with the quality.

I am geographically and directionally challenged - I rely on my GPS. I also live in AR, where it does get HOT and many times I found my GPS had fallen off the windshield. And my Prius doesn't have the right dash to have it stick too - and then I found the Dash Mount!!! Now, it still gets so hot it does fall off, but only to the dash, not all the way to the floor - and I can position it just about anywhere on my dash, so that's a bonus too!!!

This is a great dash pad. I like the small footprint. It fits well in the contours of my dashboard. It also clings well to the dashboard. I've stopped suddenly and it doesn't slide around.

This Nav-Mat replaces a round one that we had, This rectangular mount fits/stays on the dashboard much better, and I can place it in a location that does not block my line-of-sight

I bought this because of it's size. It fits in the recess on top of the dash of my Grand Cherokee and F-150. Seems to be well made so far.

Easy to use. Hold the GPS unit with no problems. Just a warning... We flew to Arizona with it. I had it in my carry on. I got my bag searched because of the sand in the base. I was told any time I fly with it my bag will be searched.

A:AnswerThe center of the unit, the circular shiny part is where you attach the suction cup. Then you just place the unit on top of your dashboard and the weight of it combined with the rubber grip part on the bottom will hold it in place. No need to attach anything to the windshield.
I have the NUVI 2555 and it works great with this. I would assume the 760 LMT uses the same or similar type of windshield mount so it should work fine.
