Needs a lottle modification to make it work
||Posted .The items appears well made, is visually pleasing (though it only comes in black), and stays where I put it on the dash. For this I give it 5's in 3 or the 4 categories. HOWEVER, under "Ease of set up", [I include "Ease of use" in this], I can only give the unit a 3. Why??? This GPS mount unit wants to use the suction cup mount that comes with the GPS unit itself. And due to the weight of my GPS unit {a TomTom 1600m}, the suction cup mount is Worthless, and so is the mount point on this unit. Is there a FIX??? My fix for this problem was to buy some velcro large enough to cover the entire suction cup and then glues the velcro to both the suction cup and to the mounting unit. [I used E6100 glue]. This works great and is, if needed, the GPS unit can be removed from the base. I looked at a lot of different dash mount units on many different web sites. There were less expensive ones and more expensive one. As far a I can tell they all function the same, so it's just person taste. For me this unit works great. I use it in both my 87 Vette and my 92 GMC pick up so as you can see, it works in a wide variety of vehicles.

Excellent product
||Posted .I bought this to mount our Rand McNally GPS to the dash of our Semi truck. The GPS came with a suction cup mount that fastens to the windshield, but it was obstructing our view. Also we would have to take it off of the windshield at night because it was in the way of our privacy curtain. I was very delighted with this product. It does not slide around on the dash and the suction cup on our GPS mounts right up to it without any problems. I wasn't sure if it would really hold our navigation system, but it does a great job and we are pleased with the quality.

Not good for smaller cars
||Posted .I bought the Bracketron - Nav-Mat III Vehicle Mount for GPS, along with my window GPS holder so I did not have to apply it to the window. My dashboard is really not suited for dash mounted device, so I have not been able to put it to good use. It sits well on the dash – I just do not have enough room. I will likely use this in my wife’s sport utility vehicle when I borrow it. I fits well, and the cost is good, which is why I did not rush to return my opened package. I can recommend it, regardless.

Just what I was looking for!
||Posted .I am geographically and directionally challenged - I rely on my GPS. I also live in AR, where it does get HOT and many times I found my GPS had fallen off the windshield. And my Prius doesn't have the right dash to have it stick too - and then I found the Dash Mount!!! Now, it still gets so hot it does fall off, but only to the dash, not all the way to the floor - and I can position it just about anywhere on my dash, so that's a bonus too!!!

Sticky Dash Pad for Electronics
||Posted .I bought this for my GPS because it is illegal in CA to mount GPS or phone to front window, and the air vent connectors I have been using block air flow. This works fine. It is pretty stable but when I am making a sharp turn I do have a tendency to reach out and hold it in place as it does slip a little. That said, I can see the GPS screen a LOT better than I could when it was mounted to air vents on center of dash.

Dash Mount travels well
||Posted .I bought this in conjunction with a iPhone grip that was designed for windshield mount. I don't like the sticky residue left on a windshield but this mount is so much better. I can sit it on the dash and move it where I want it or if I don't need it I can take it down. I liked it so much that I bought another one that I put in my backpack or luggage. One word of caution though - if you put it in your carry-on luggage take it out to go on through the security scan. It is so dense that they will need to wipe it down to make sure it's not a block of explosive material. When I take it out and send it through on the belt by itsself I usually don't have any problem.

Very Handy
||Posted .Although a bit awkward, this GPS mat makes it a lot easier to position my GPS exactly where I want it and lets me reach and adjust the angles to make it easier to see than if I adhered the unit to my windshield. This is especially important in California with its strict laws regarding placement of a GPS on the windshield.

Gets GPS off the windshield
||Posted .Like the product as it gets the GPS off the windshield and down onto the dash where I have easier access to it. Also keep the suction cup circles off the windshield. Suction cup does not fall off the product as much as it did the windshield. The only thing I dislike about it is it sometimes slides off the dash if you turn too sharp.

Q: QuestionHow do yo use this mount with the Garmin 760LMT ?Is his compatible with the listed GPS? My question how do you use this mount with the Garmin GPS 760 LMMMT suctions cup mount,? the specs say it mounts irght on to your windshield mount, so I dont see how they are compatible? How does it work?
Asked by sam clemens.
- A:Answer The center of the unit, the circular shiny part is where you attach the suction cup. Then you just place the unit on top of your dashboard and the weight of it combined with the rubber grip part on the bottom will hold it in place. No need to attach anything to the windshield. I have the NUVI 2555 and it works great with this. I would assume the 760 LMT uses the same or similar type of windshield mount so it should work fine.
