Gary Oldman does a fantastic job in his role as Dracula. Personally this is my favorite Dracula movie and to have it in 4K is a plus. Also has Keanu Reeves, Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins and Monica Bellucci are in it so you can't go wrong.

Some people knock this movie, but Oldman is awesome, Winona Ryder is great, and Keanu and Hopkins are quite fun in my opinion.

-Feature:
Refreshed my viewing after watching it in 1992. If you enjoy vampire movies, this one is a must.
Pros:
-Picture; Great to see it release in 4K. Of course have to change to another custom HDR setting to avoid magnifying grain & ended up looked clean, smooth , yet sharp with strong color.
-Digital Copy; Yes, full version with Vision & Atmos.
-Slipcover; Yes.
Cons:
-Sound; While it is appreciated to get released with Atmos, it was nothing that stood out. It was mostly front stage active. I have heard movies that are even older that had top notch immersive surround effect like Blade Runner is a reference demo in my book.
-Gear used for sound & visuals:
LG 65’ C6P 4k/3D passive OLED (manually calibrated)
9.2 Onkyo RZ + pre amp for 7.2.4/11.2 (integrated calibrated then manually tweeted with SPL sound level meter & balance/adjust for full dynamic range)
Klipsch P-REF towers
center
sides
rears
& dual R112SW subs
Polk Audio MC80 8’ quad in-ceiling heights
Oppo 4K UDP-203
Monster cables: Premium Black Platinum HDR HDMIs, THX Audio RCA, Digital Subwoofer Cables & Fiber Optic Ultra 1000
Monoprice 14 gauge awg copper speaker wire
Nakamichi Speaker Plugs
Auralex Acoustic Isolation platforms

I'll be the first to admit, I don't buy into the 4K Blu Ray train as fast as some people. Some movies don't NEED to be in 4K, a regular Blu Ray suffices and in some cases a Blu Ray is even too clean of a picture - exposing things (looking at you The Wizard of Oz). But this is one of my favorite movies (with one casting exception) so I had to triple dip.
The transfer really sings, it's gorgeous, it doesn't expose any tricks or hide hides with the make ups or other effects. The sound is great and mixed well, I don't have to turn up the audio when it's just dialogue and turn it down when it's louder moments.
Overall a really good transfer of a really good movie and if you can get it on sale, 15 bucks for it is a perfect price - especially since you get the digital copy and standard blu ray.

To date, this is the definitive version of all Dracula films. Coppola's vision is a most detailed and intricate journey into the Legend and delivers the creeps and chills this story deserves. From the script, the excellent photography, effects, makeup, music, and sets to the costumes, direction, and the ensemble of perfect actors for their roles, this film captures an authentic ambiance and horrifying look into the vampire's tale. Gary Oldman's portrayal of the Count is so spot on he should have been given a nomination as well as Anthony Hopkins' Van Helsing.
The Atmos sound is absolutely engrossing and perfectly suited to entice goosebumps. Very well done in all aspects.

I watched this movie once and did not enjoy it. After reading about its quality 4k release though I decided to give it another shot when I found it back in stock at a good price. This time around it clicked for me and it looked and sounded fantastic. Highly enjoyable and a nice once to have in the collection, especially with Halloween looming.

Yes, Dracula has been done to death in various forms...even Rocko's Modern Life (1994) parodied that fact, yet the Dracula movies and spin-offs keep coming. This movie, however, is probably the best big screen iteration of the story that I've ever seen, and it looks great on 4K.

Extremely high quality version of a classic movie! This is definitely a movie that benefits from a quality transfer, as it makes the incredible production design pop even more. I wish Best Buy would reverse their decision and continue selling physical media.

If you lik old world Dracula movies then you will love this one. They spared no expense with this one, great period sets, attire and hair styles. Performances were very good especially Gary Oldman as Dracula. I have the first release Blu-ray and bought the 4k sight unseen. The upgrade was worth the double dip. I highly recommend this one.
