The blender performs very well. My wife thinks that it is too loud, but I think it sounds like a blender. I will say that the instructions on how to use this blender are not that great. I even look on the Internet for a video and they were as bad as the instructions that came with the blender. So read the manual as best as you can, the rest is "On the job blending and learning from that". My smoothies have been excellent! Good luck!

It’s big as far as the actual blender but the bottom where it goes is slim. It’s very aesthetically pleasing in the kitchen and it does not take up a lot of space. Blends well. I haven’t had any issues from smoothies to salsa or ice. Worth the investment for the price.

I bought this blender because it has a glass pitcher, and because I don't want any BPA's in my food or drink so plastic pitchers were out of the question. The blender worked worse than average. First of all, the motor burned up in less that 6 months. I used it for blending my ketogenic coffee in the mornings, and only blended frozen fruit to make smoothies a couple of times, so the motor was not overly, or repeatedly burdened. Now I am back to looking for another glass pitcher blender. What a waste of money.

I have been happy with this blender overall, I have had it for 2+ years however the first part to go was the plastic attachment on the bottom of the glass which makes the blade spin. I’m hoping I can get a replacement.
