Great mixer/blender, I would recommend this product to anyone who has a need for great blender

haven't had this very long works great BUT the metal part body of it doesn't have much resistance to the common exposure to water spots and don't look very nice

It is a blender, it works well because it liquefies, I am disappointed of this for several reasons it says that it has a 650 W motor and it looks like 65 w, besides it is not the one I ordered, I had bought the 1000 W and the little sister arrived. I was traveling when he arrived, by the time I saw her it was too late for his return or exchange. Equal knew the brand as very good but as any change maybe in Germany is good. Of course I do not recommend it and less the brand

Not a good blender for protein smoothies for athletes

I have received a free sample product from Braun for evaluation/review. I was very excited to be chosen to review this blender! I was already in the market for a blender, and wasn't sure which one to get! Truth is, I was looking at either Blendtec or Vitamix... but the high price tag was making me hesitant. After using this blender for almost 2 weeks, here are some points i would like to make: 1) This is definitely a lot quieter than my friends blendtec, but noiser than the vitamix 5200 2) the first thing i tested was the liquify/puree function as i wanted to make a smoothie on a warm summer day:) It came out pretty smooth! even though there are still a few chunk of ice in there after blending it twice :( 3) i also blended some pineapple(with core)/orange with peel/lemon with peel/kiwi... the peel wasn't completely blended so my juice had a little bit of leather-chewy feel :( 4) the blades are quite sharp, be very careful when washing them... as i've cut myself once already. 5) since this is only a plastic blender, i didn't want to test blending hot soup with it (even though its bpa-free) 6) the blade is connected with plastic spindles on the bottom... the braun does have a pretty strong motor, but i am not sure how long this will last as the plastic will break/deteriorate in time. it would be much better if it was metal:) I've also left out the part where all parts can be washed, etc, as most blenders should have comparable features nowadays:) Also left the part out regarding aesthetics:) its looks pretty slick...:) Conclusion: I think it did an okay job in blending smoothies/juices.... i didn't dare to try making ice cream/hot soup with it. I think this blender is fairly priced, but i am not sure how long this will last in the kitchen if you were to use it everyday.

I got to say this pure mix blender is pretty impressive. The crushed ice feature is amazing!! The texture comes out to be just like a snow cone or snow ball! My kids loved that feature. I made a strawberry banana smoothie and it took a little longer than I expected but I do believe it was an error on my part. I should've put the fruit in first and then the ice and of course the milk. I'm excited to try a ton of other recipes with this blender because I've learned there are so many different things you can do with it! Shakes, smoothies, coffee frappuccinos, salsa, margaritas and more. One of my personal favorites is 3 slices of pineapple ,stalk of kale, agave, an orange and ice! It's healthy, delicious and even the kids like it!! All in all this Braun Pure Mix Blender is fantastic! Speed is great! Very durable! Easy to Use!

With many kids at home, we need to strive to be on budget. This blender has done marvelous for us. Making smoothies and purees is quiet easy and very fast (comparing with an old blender we have), it doesn't get any slower even with the full jug. I was first disappointed with the plastic jug, but it ended up to be better to handle by the little kids, since it's much lighter than the glass we had. The blender base is like one single piece (no cracks and crevices for dirty) making it very easy to clean, and it also looks cool on the countertop. One of the best features is the ice crusher. On the old days (the other blender) I have to add water, or it would just not crush it. Now I can enjoy a snow cone in no time. Overall the blender has worked nonstop and all the family is pleased with it, I highly recommend it.

This blender is awesome! First of all, the color and style is very chic. Silly to say, but its a sexy blender. Looks aren't deceiving with this one. I've made so many delicious smoothies every morning for the past few weeks. It's been crushing ice, frozen fruits and leafy greens great! The motor seems very strong and all the different functions make it easy and fun to use. My only issue is having a plastic jug. I wish it was glass, but for the price you cant beat it! Great product!

I have owned a few blenders in my time, and this Braun blender definitely impressed me. After I took it out of the box and witnessed the weight and feel and realized how quality of a product is physically was, I was excited to try it out. I probably got too excited when I plugged it in and pressed the power button and the pretty green lights glowed from the function buttons. I felt they give the blender a sleek, high end look. I just like the buttons, okay? :) I am always making protein smoothies and need a nice powerful, efficient blender that will do the job of crushing big ice cubes in a short amount of time. I was really impressed with the power in this blender. The first time I used impressed that it actually slightly took me back like wow, this things strong. It has various functions, typical of most blenders. The only real complaint I have is it doesn't get the ice as smooth as I personally like. That could be my doing though, as I tend to make super thick shakes. It's eeally easy to clean and it sits nicely on my counter, making a great addition to my kitchen. I really enjoy this product and as long as it lasts long term, I'll stick with this brand.

I have had the Braun blender for about a month and have used it in a few different ways. Braun products seem to be the middle of the road as far as quality is concerned. So I expected a good product. When I first received it and placed it on my counter it seemed to be taller than most blenders I have seen. Granted I have not used a blender in about 15 years but from what I can remember they did not come close to my hanging cabinets like this one does. The top of the blender is a solid rubber top and to remove it you have to pull on the edge of the lip. Its ok but if you have food stuck underneath you could not avoid getting your hands dirty. There is a built in measuring cup so if you need a quick measurement it is there for use. It is removable in order to add ingredients to your mix which is a pretty decent size oblong opening. Better than the traditional round opening, makes it a less spill risk. As far as noise its pretty loud regardless on what setting you have it on. I have chopped Ice which works pretty good and easy and quick to make ice for snow cones and mixed drinks. Have to be careful not to go too long if you just want the ice chunky instead of shaved, its pretty quick and the blades are very sharp. I have also made Hummus and smoothies and it works really well. Often i just cant get that one strawberry mixed in no matter how long I leave it on for. It also depends on how much you have in there. Works best when its about half or less full. My complaint about this is the ease of use. You have to turn on the power button, then pick your strength of mixing. It will stay on. If you want to pulse then power, pulse then pick the number of strength. It didn't seem to work all the time. The settings themselves didn't have much difference in the strength as well. Its a balance of how long you leave it on and how much you have in it to work the best. With all the different types of products on the market to do the same job I wouldn't necessarily discount this one but others like the ninja and bullets etc... all have their pros and cons. Just have to pick what best suites you.

I really like how this Braun puremix blender mixes and blends my smoothies. I use frozen fruit and it really blends well. I also like the 5 speeds. The blender crushes ice amazing!!! My first impression of this blender is it does just what it is supposed to. I liked all the options it has and the ability to crush ice into almost sno-cone like ice is magnificent. I tried to find recipes to which I would be able to try out all the different settings and they all work really well. My only drawbacks were that there are many parts you have to clean and the marks to measure the how much stuff is in there is to me backwards. However, it is still a good blender and a great choice for someone looking for a good one that is not overly expensive. Braun really surprised me with this one. This blender has the speed and power to blend smoothies and crush ice, which is what I primarily use it for. But the plastic jug and plastic parts don't feel as sturdy as my KitchenAid blender which I've had for 12 years, which has a glass jug and heavy-duty plastic and rubberized parts.

This is quite the powerful blender! I use my blender every morning for protein shakes and smoothies. This Braun 5 speed blender goes beyond blending, the crushed ice feature works so well if you let it go too long you get snow cone ice! The chopping feature works great as well, each setting only takes a few seconds to get the desired result. I was concerned at first because it was plastic, but its PBA free, easy to clean hard plastic. Looks great black and stainless. I highly recommend.
