My kids love smoothies the blender that I had wouldn't crush the ice or the fruits right , would leave chunks of fruits and big pieces of ice. I'm extremely happy with Braun Puremix works amazingly with fresh fruits and ice , smoothies are smooth and you don't have to worry about crashing the ice this blender does all the work for you. Is not only great for cold drinks but you could use it for hot ingredients too!! I made a vegetable soup over the weekend since I was sick.

This is a great blender. It is very classy looking so I can leave it on my kitchen counter & not have to worry about it looking messy. First, you can do so many things with this great blender. I have made salsas, pureed items and more. The ice crushes great for mixed drinks, slushes and more. It is very easy to operate and clean, and comes with a great booklet full of recipe ideas.I would and have highly recommended.

I received a chance to test drive the JB7130 Blender from Braun. I was excited about this because I own several Braun products from the immersion blender, to an electric shaver, to an electric toothbrush that has lasted more than 12 years! I am amazed by the quality and longevity of Braun products. The JB7130 blender has a great pull circular down motion which brings the ingredients right into the blade. I was pleased to see that the jar is BPA free which is something I didn't have on the Vitamix blender I owned. The wattage on this blender allows for most standard blending functions. I prepared 2 yogurt and solid fruit shakes for my wife and she loved the result. The blender effectively removed all bits and pieces and created a perfect puree. The taste was phenomenal and the mixture created a great shake. Many blenders cannot these basic things without a hitch. The initial startup of the blender is great due to the flashing lights next to each blending function. I also love the pulse feature where you press the appropriate blending function and do short pulse blends. The blender is very easy to clean and the most beneficial part is when something spills on the buttons it is easy to wipe off without things to get trapped. Overall I am thrilled by the quality of Braun and the ease of use with this blender. This is a product that is used for basic blending functions and it does a great job!

I have reviewed the Braun JB7130BK Blender. I wanted to share my experience with you with this product. The reason I wanted to test this personally was for health reasons. I am having problems getting enough nutrients in my diet, so I wanted this to make smoothies daily. It has been a blessing to my household as I am able to make smoothies daily for my toddler son and I. I am very satisfied with the product when using fresh fruit but when I use frozen fruit it seems it takes the blades alot more time to get started. It is very easy to use, i read the first few pages of the instruction booklet and now I feel like a pro! I did get alot of recipes from the booklet that was included with the blender. Also on their website is great recipes that i have found. The design is modern and looks great on my counter. I would recommend this blender to my family and friends. I received this be set for my honest opinion. I was super excited about other blended was not as magic as expected. We make smoothies and frozen drinks all the time at my house. This blender is amazing for cutting through the ice. I did try to use the chop feature for chicken salad and was not as impressed. Overall I think this is a pretty good able see. I would recommend it to people looking for a less expensive option.

One of the questions you may ask yourself may have been.......Should I spend the extra money and go with one of the Big Boys or should I save a couple hundred bucks and go with this Braun? I've always pictured Braun a s a well designed shaving system or a great coffee maker, so I was taken back when I discovered the quality of this blender. Unpacking and assembly was easy. Be sure to wash the jug before using for the first time!! After using the blender through all of its different modes I was pleasantly surprised of how well this blender responded when called upon. Whether using the Powerassist mode where the Blender automatically detects an increase in the load and adjust its power output accordingly or any of the other modes the unit performed well in all modes of operation. The unit is a lot quieter than the top brands on the market today. Overall, its a great blender to have if you need a high quality middle of the line blender.

I got this blender a week ago and I absolutely love it!! I've used it for smoothies and milk shakes and its great for margaritas!! Its not very big or bulky so it doesn't use much counter space and it looks nice. I would definitely recommend this blender.

It does really well chopping ice, but my fridge does just as well. This does not do well if you are wanting this for one serving. You have to add at least 4 cups of any liquid to get it going or else you have to constantly keep stirring it, so there are no gaps or air. It became an annoyance after awhile having to keep doing that to make anything. I prefer a milkshake blender for milkshakes or a ninja or bullet for anything else. I guess if you really need a blender then buy one, but for this price there are so many other blenders on the market with so many more options. The cleaning process is also a burden. You have to take apart everything even the rings to clean so bacteria and mold do not grow. I really didn't find this product useful at all. I received this item at a discount for my honest review.

I got to test this product for my honest opinion without compensation, I do not like that the piture is plastic, would rather it be glass because plastic scratches up and gets bacteria and do not like plastic stuff. I also cut my finger when I was cleaning out the picture part of it, I am also unsure of all those push buttons, I did like that it has a ice crushing feature in which is important for me for my smoothies.

nder, Black (Kitchen) I took three weeks before reviewing this awesome blender. At first I had a rough time getting use to the blender. First try my smoothie did not come our right. Second time it was perfect. You have to use the right amount of liquid. Mix is great for smoothies. The blades are so strong that they can break down frozen fruit or ice within seconds. Becareful cleaning it because the blades are very sharp. The design is perfect for countertop use . The top will seal completely only if you have it on right . The measuring cup is perfect for small additions. I recommend to anyone looking for a great blender but doesn't want to spend a lot. I recieved this product in exchange for my honest opinion and that is what you see.

The Braun JB7130BK PureMix Jug Blender is a super product to blend just about anything. Smoothies, milkshakes and other yummy drinks achieve perfection with this quick and easy blender. Multiple speeds let you choose how the drink comes out. The ice crusher is a particular favorite. Don’t be afraid to but in frozen ingredients. The blades a strong and force right thru to the frozen into smoothie delight. The pitcher is very nice sized and allows for more than one serving to be made at a time. This is a review of the Braun JB7130BK blender. First of all I’ve been using a Vitamix for the last three years and I’m trying not to compare this with the Vitamix because although they are both blenders it’s like comparing a Rolls Royse to a truck both were make for different markets and reasons. The Braun held up to the cocktail party very well. It chopped ice really good and it mixed it well but for a party it doesn’t make many drinks at a time but if it’s you and hubby it’s perfect. I’m really still trying not to compare to two but you don’t have the control with the Braun like you do with the Vitamix. I haven’t tried to grind grain with this like I do the Vitamix but I don’t know if it will hold up or not so really I shouldn’t compare this feature but the grain grinding in to flour is the main reason for me buying the Vitamix in the first place. If you want a good blender that will hold up to house hold usage then this is it. This mixer does make mayonnaise very well as well as other homemade sauces. For everyday use, as this machine was intended, it deserves five stars. The manufacturer had not made any claim about this product that have proven to be false. I would buy it for the needs stated in the description and for home use. Since I’m comparing the Vitamix and the Braun, and I shouldn’t, the Braun takes up a lot less foot print on the counter. I freaking love this blender, its become my favorite thing to use in the kitchen. I use it mainly to make smoothies which is what I purposely bought it for. I had one of the rinkydink starter blenders for a couple years and decided to upgrade. And boy am I happy, This blender makes me think I can open up my own smoothie shop lol. So if you love smoothies as much as I do then purchase this blender you wont be disappointed.

After making my first smoothie, I removed the jar from the blender only to find that the jar was leaking from the bottom. What a poor design for making a blender jug? There is another design fallacy and that is to have the measuring cup embedded in the top lid. This measuring cup does not fit into the lid in anyway and thus causes the liquid to fall out. I really do not understand if this blender was designed to be practical at all. It makes a considerable noise while operating, and the big jar size makes it difficult to be used for a small family of 2 or by individuals. Pros: It is aesthetically great looking and suits the decor of the kitchen. Washing is easy - I go by hand washing. It does a good job at crushing ice, but then - that's all. For me, it failed to serve any other purpose. To summarize the issues that I observed: Has too many removable parts, causes leak from bottom of the jar and the top of the lid. Noisy motor. Bigger sized jar. Overall, it had the potential to be a good blender given the aesthetics and powerful motor, but the poorly designed jar turned it to be practically useless.

I have always used just a regular blender when it came to smoothie making and have never had the smoothie texture I want ,until I tried this blender! It makes the best smoothies Ive ever had and blends so fast! Like seriously 2 seconds for a smoothie lol. It has other settings as well for stirring, chopping, mixing, and puree, I have used them all and have loved each one! It works amazingly well!

This is a great blender. I have crushed ice and if you leave it on a bit longer, you end up with shaved for snow cones. I used for cracker crumbs. wow what a great job! I have also made shakes and again it worked great. Everything I have done so far is impressive.

My whole family love this blender. Every morning they choose a different smoothie. Totally in love.

I have enjoyed using the Braun Pure Mix Jug Blinder. It crushes ice quickly and thoroughly. My 14 year old son also uses it to make milkshakes and smoothies.
