I was highly impressed with the Braun PureMix Jug Mixer. I was skeptical at first on how well this was going to work because my previous blender had so many issues. My children and I love to make smoothies and always have difficulties with getting the blender we had previously to crush the ice. The Braun mixer is superb compared to our other. It crushes ice with ease and makes extremely smooth smoothies which is amazing for us. It doesn't have a ton of different speeds (stir, liquify and crush ice) but I believe that the ones that are offered do enough to make anything you would like with this blender. It holds quite a bit as well which is great for those that want to make a larger batch of virtually anything that they would typically blend. Another thing that I liked about the blender was how easy is was to clean. There was no fuss with this which makes it a much more enjoyable experience. The blender was also less noisy than our other which was great! I would definitely recommend this blender as it works quickly and produces great results.

I have had the Braun Puremix 5-speed Blender for over a week now and can say it has definitely met our expectations so far. We have used it to make protein shakes, chocolate shakes, smoothies, and snow cones. With the powerful motor and sharp blade, it is quick to blend all the ingredients together without getting stuck. It was even able to pull up the ingredients that were on the bottom of the jug without me having to stop the blender and mix it up on my own. And when crushing ice for a snow cone, it was no problem at all. It crushed the ice quickly and completely. So nice to be able to eat a snow cone without big chunks of ice! The settings are easy and cleanup is a breeze. Dishwasher safe or I would hand wash it with no problem. It is lightweight, which was a bonus for me since I didn't always have room on my counter and would need to move it. The only real downside to the blender is that it's LOUD. I know it is a high watt blender but I wasn't expecting it to be that noisy. Overall though, I am satisfied with the blender and would recommend it to family and friends. This blender is super light weight and easy to use! The flat button controls are easy to use and make for an easy clean up as you just have to wipe them down and food or liquids can't get in the between anything. No need for multiple gadgets anymore as this blender does everything! Crushes ice to the perfect consistency with no large chunks, it's like snow. Margaritas are a delight now that I don't have to chew through the ice to enjoy them or even worse...choke on the ice! Protein shakes are smooth and not gritty and again no chunks of fruit or ice, perfect consistency. My salsa is even better than ever and my family can't get enough. I would highly recommend this blender as it is light weight, easy to use buttons, and easy to clean! I can finally get rid of my food processor and my bulky blender!

I love the Braun Puremix 5-speed Blender! The blender has a very sleek and modern design. The very first thing that impressed me was how fast it can crush ice! I was left with almost perfect snow cone crushed ice. This thing is powerful! My breakfast smoothies are well blended and ready in seconds. No chunks of ice or fruit left behind. It is very easy to use, and just as easy to clean. The Braun Puremix works just as well as some of the more expensive brands, at a fraction of the cost. Definitely recommended! I never realized what a difference a good blender could make. I have always had cheap blenders thinking whats the difference they all do the same thing. They may all do the same thing but i just learned by trying the Braun Puremix that some do it way better! This blender is super easy to use and clean and i'm amazed at the speed that it does it in. It has a crush ice button that is awesome. It kinda does this pulsing thing and in seconds you have super fine crushed ice with no leftover big chunks. It is like snow cone ice. If you enjoy daiquiris or your kids love snow cones or slushies then you will love this blender. It also does an amazing job making smoothies and milkshakes.

I was pleasantly surprised by this blender. When the box arrived, I thought the blender was going to be much smaller than it actually was. It turned out to be a pretty good size. The directions were easy to understand and the set up was a breeze for me. I do not know a lot of products that claim to crush ice really well, so that was my first plan of attack. I put a ton of regular ice cubes in there and it did a pretty good job. There were a few cubes that did not crush completely, but for the most part it did a really good job. I was quite impressed. As for making a smoothie, I thought it did a great job of blending everything together. I have a smoothie every morning and I would definitely recommend this blender for smoothies. The blades are sharp and do their job and it is also very easy to clean after use. I received this product in exchange for my honest review and I would definitely recommend it.

My boyfriend and I used this blender to make strawberry margaritas for a little party we were hosting. I was skeptical that it would really work, since we've been through about 3 blenders in the past year. It did the job though and cuts through ice without problems! With a pitcher size big enough to serve our group of 8, we could make a single round then relax with our friends. The best part is how easy it was to clean... the pitcher and lid fit nicely into the dishwasher and come out looking like new. I'd definitely recommend this blender to a friend - it is affordable, durable, and really works!

I have had this blender for a little over a week now, and I absolutely LOVE it! I make a lot of sauces and salsa from scratch, so having a blender that can keep up with the amount of use I inflict upon it is a must, and the Braun Puremix 5-speed Blender can do exactly that. It's light weight design makes it easy to move from one location to another. It offers an easy to use panel that is flush, which makes it a breeze to wipe clean. I don't normally keep appliances on my countertops, but this one is so sleek, its easy to fit into a corner and not stick out like a sore thumb. My favorite feature has to be the pulsating option. It quickly transforms your fruits, veggies or ice into a smooth slushy consistency in seconds. I have used blenders in the past that required me having to have additional appliances on hand for them to do what I needed. Food processors, hand mixers, and choppers are now a thing of the past because with this blender, I can get everything done in one container, which takes the chore out of making homemade sauces and salsa. My son loves smoothies. I mean, what kid doesn't? He's 13 and I turned him loose to make his own creations. He had a very easy time making his own smoothies and milkshakes. He said he liked that it didn't take long to make them and it was easy to use, and not bulky to move around. I would recommend the Braun Puremix 5-speed Blender to anyone looking for an affordable, easy to use blender. Like I mentioned before, I have used other blenders that couldn't quite keep up with my demand. This blender is definitely a keeper. I was asked to review this Braun PureMix Jug Blender by Reviewclub to share my honest and unbiased opinion. First just let me say, I have gone through a lot of blenders in the past 2 years. I had radiation/chemo on my throat which caused a lot of scar tissue. I am limited to what I can eat due to swallowing issues. In the past two years I have gone through a lot of blenders simply trying to crush ice for a smoothie. The ice would freeze up the blades in seconds causing me to stop and stir the ice free and then start the whole process over again. Very annoying. This Braun PureMix blender however chopped through the ice with no problem of freezing. I didn't have to stop and break it up before adding my other ingrediants. I also loved the fact that during the ice crushing it pulsates, i think that is what keeps it from freezing. Other blenders I had to push the button constantly to make it pulse and it still froze up. As I added the other stuff, fruit, veggies, it stayed strong and did not get bogged down once. All the many times I have used this blender it was fantastic! I also like the fact that the buttons are flush so they don't stick up which always made cleaning hard on other blenders. On this one just wipe clean. It has a very sleek design and goes well on my counter top. I was a little disappointed the jug part wasn't glass but I think that was just because I was use to glass jugs. But there again the glass jugs always froze up! The plastic also makes it lighter to lift when full. Overall I pretty much love this blender and have already told my friends about it. One is even considering getting one to give as a Christmas gift!! I wanted to try this blender because a friend told me how awesome it was. I was expecting high quality in the blending capabilities and they were exceeded. I crushed ice for my grandkids and it was so fine, we could have used it for sno-cones! I also used it in making smoothies and it worked exceptionally well. My daughter, who is sixteen, found it to be very easy to use and loved it as well. She used it to chop nuts for making Christmas candy. We took turns using the blender for our various needs with our Christmas goodies. The design is very user friendly, easy to clean and assemble. It was very simple to use. I liked all of the features and couldn't find anything lacking in this product. I would highly recommend this product to my friends and family. I love this Blender, this is such a great product. I currently own a Ninja Blender and I like it but I just feel the ninga is bulky and heavy compared to the Braun Puremix. This blender has became my first choice for blending anything, I love the way the smoothies come out the texture is amazing and the ice gets blended in seconds. This blender is amazing for making homemade salsa's as well, specially if you don't want chunky salsa you will not find any chunks of anything when you blend. On a scale from 1-10 I give this blender a 10+ I recommend this product for anything looking for a good fast blender. I also love the sturdy plastic cup its so easy to wash and super easy to place on the base which is also a plus. If you love blended margaritas like I do this blender will become your best friend :). If you are looking for a great blender that pretty much does it all I highly recommend this product.

I have had the opportunity to review this Braun blender and I'd have to say that this blender is simply the best that I've ever used. This is pretty much a commercial style blender. I have tried this blender to make smoothies, margaritas and even salsa. With each one of these items the outcome was amazing and just the way I would want it. The five speed settings are very helpful in breaking up the ice and up until the thickness you want whatever you are making. The design looks pretty sleek and simple, but the product is very professional. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to make some awesome drinks or salsa!

This blender does a great job doing just that... It is sleek and well built - I have used it for morning smoothies and crushing ice and it does a great job. Cleaning it is a breeze and it looks nice enough that I can leave it on the counter for daily use without much concern.

This is a great blender. I love the different settings it has. It can crush ice, liquify, pulse and chop. I really like the glass jug. The lid fits nicely and has a piece that goes in it that you can remove to add ingredients easily. It is easy to remove the jug out of stand but the stand holds the jug very nicely. It is easy to clean and dry. Its also nice that along with what you get in the box there is a few other blender containers you can buy to use with it. It was easy to put together out of the box. So my kids and I have been using the blender for about a week now and so far we really like it. We used it exclusively to make smoothies and we've found the blender to perform almost flawlessly in this respect. Probably the thing that I like the most is just how quiet the motor is at full speed even when blending ice. Granted it isn't silent but it is really quiet compared to other blenders I've used. It definitely makes less noise than the ones at the retail smoothie places and at the displays in the big warehouse locations. So far we've blended Pineapple, Kiwi, Mango, Spinach, and OJ and Ice. The blender has gone through everything in varying sizes and amounts with any significant difficulty. I even added a full cup of chunks of ice and it blew through it without any issue. The only 2 areas I noticed difficulty may come down to user error. I found that is was hard to get the spinach completely pulverized without running the blender on the liquefy setting which led to smoothies that were runnier than I might like. The solution that seems to work is to do the spinach and whatever liquid first and then after it is blended well then add the fruit or whatever else. I also found that when I tried to blend with say less than a ½ cup of liquid and other ingredients I needed to pulse the blender or take the jug off the base and give it a shake to move it along sometimes. Again this may be me adding to much stuff at one time or in too big of chunks. Adding more liquid to start fixed this issue. Another possible issue is that because the jug is somewhat bigger than others it tends to be a touch taller and unfortunately is about an inch and a half too tall to fit under my overhead cabinets. The easy remedy was to move it to an uncovered space but for those that want it under a cabinet on a counter top I would consider measuring for height. I'm okay with it being out in the open versus under the cabinets as I like having the extra ounces in the jug to make larger batches. I's like to see a retractable cord on the base but it does have a space to wind it up underneath the blender so you only have the amount you need exposed and it doesn't affect the blender base resting flat. The cord is also quite long compared to other appliances I've owned. I though that only have 4 buttons for speeds with 2 of them being pulse and “ice” mode that I wouldn't have the variety that I might like but we did just fine with the “4” modes total. Thinking back on every blender I've used I generally just pulsed if I wanted something chopped and went full speed for everything else until I got the consistency I wanted so this blender worked just fine. The Jug is a hard BPA free plastic that doesn't weigh much at all. The lid on top fits snug and doesn't leak at all while still coming off relatively easy. I did not find it necessary to hold my hand on top while blending which kind of freaked my kids out. All and all I really like the blender and the price point for the amount of power you get with the motor seems to me to be a good deal. The kids are digging it and I for see us drinking more green veggies which the wife and I love.

This is the best blender I have ever had. I have not been uising it for long, but I can't already tell how awesome it is. I wanted to try a blender that would be great for smoothies as my husband and I are trying to loose weight and he is a diabetic. Well this blender is it all the smoothies come out smooth, it crushes the ice perfectly. You don't get those big chunks of ice like other blenders. I love the easy to use buttons and that it is not complicated to use. The Braun - Braun PureMix 5-Speed Blender - Premium black is something that I will keep using daily and I love it.

After using this blender I will never go back to using my former one! Smoothies turn out so much better and when it comes to crushing ice, this blender is beyond amazing! I didn't even have to cut my fruit into super small pieces for it to turn it into a smooth liquid. The blend is very easy to clean and the buttons aren't the pop up kind, so wiping the base off is so much easier. I absolutely love this blender and recommend it to everyone in the market for a new one.

I use a blender almost on a daily basis. When I saw this blender offered by Braun, it immediately caught my attention. It has all the features I need. It exceeds my expectations all around. I am a big fan of Braun in general and this blender did not disappoint. I love this blender for many reasons. The main reason is because it works phenomenally. I have no issues at all blending anything (fruit, ice) and I have used it for a couple weeks already. It is super simple to use and the results are wonderful. I got this product because I needed to replace my old blender, and I am beyond pleased with it. For the price, you can't go wrong with this at all.

I was very excited to try this new blender since the one I have been using for the past years was not the best. Let me just say, this blender did not let me down. After using it for the first time I was very happy with the results. The time it took to blend was half if not more quicker than with my previous blender. Now it is much quicker to blend anything which makes blending something to look forward to. My sauces and shakes come out much more smoother and creamier than before when I use to always have chunks with my previous blender. My only concern in the beginning was that the jug is made out of plastic, I have always had glass jugs but after trying it out I have had great experience, it is much lighter and easier to handle. The Jug is a hard BPA free plastic that is great since I have kids and this is something I always look for. This is definitely a blender I would recommend to friends and family, it is something I will definitely look into to purchase for my parents since the lightweight is something that be helpful for my mother. I am definitely happy with this product.

the Braun blender was the best blender I have ever used the precised blending was perfect my salsa came out great I even made smoothie it crused up the ice with no problem ive used other blenders to where it left my ice chunky but the Braun blender left if smoothie and delicous
