DID NOT LIKE IT AFTER 3 WEEKS. I REUTNED IT TO THE BEST BUY STORE. THE CLEANER WOULD NOT SHUT OFF, & NOT CLEAN THE SHAVER. PULL SOMETIMES OUCH!!

It's sucks. Hard to shave neck and under chin. It's sucks very bad

I've had this for 2 years now, still runs great. It's easy to maintain and while the self-cleaning makes a little more noise than I expected, it's not like it's going to wake up the neighbors. With regular foil changes I expect to get another 5 years out of this thing, and I would love to have it that long!

This razor is almost as close as a blade. ****You must let your face/skin adjust to it for about a week, especially if coming from a triple head razor**** It is super close. Be sure to place it in the system after every use - it's worth it. The refills are not expensive but don't buy too many at once because the solution will evaporate. USE THE CLEANING SYSTEM -- Use the system after every shave, You will be glad you did! -- The system keeps the razor performing at awesome levels - Worth every dime. *** One Warning *** - It takes 4 hours to dry when you place it in the system, so be sure you are done before you put it in there, I hate that! *** For under the chin in the tough neck areas, I do go behind the razor with a traditional manual triple edge/disposable to get the tough stubble. Makes it EXTRA smooth!

My beard is curly and grows in different directions, so it was hard to find a razor that worked great all over. Until I found this one that is. The recharge &renew station is great to. It really does feel like new every morning.

Very good product, doesn't pull and tug on facial hair. The self-cleaning device that comes with it is a very nice addition. Would recommend this product!

Never had an electric shaver like this before. It is quick to use and quick to clean. I can shave in ten minutes then shower as it cleans itself. It gets really close and my face is not irritated afterwards. The trimmer is great and works wonderfully. I would definitely recommend others to buy this shaver. It is an investment.

I had been using the original model since it first came out, and finally decided to treat myself to a new one. Am I glad I did! Although it looks similar, its' feel and performance is much improved. I now don't dread shaving nearly as much as before. Wish I had upgraded sooner.

This was my first experience with a foil shaver, I've been using an inexpensive Remington rotary shaver. I get the same results with my old shaver faster. The reasons to switch was because I wanted to try something different and newer. Also I didn't know how many years you can recharge a shaver. The Braun comes with a fancy, push a button cleaning system, which seems to work nice. To get the hairs under the neck, you need to stretch the skin and press the shaver to the skin going back and forth many times. I hope the blades last as long as the rotary.

Series 1 and Series 3 Brauns take forever to shave and charge does not last long because it takes so long to shave. Went back to a blade while I find a different brand to buy. Plus the charging cleaning stand is large and awkward. Back directions book too.

Took about a week to get used to but it shaves pretty well and gives a clean close shave for my heavy beard.

Expensive, but works well and love that I can clean it periodically.

I am not happy with the closeness of the shave with this razor. I am used to a triple head round action electric razor that shaves much closer. Instead of purchasing new heads for that razor, I bought this one. I used it a few times and went back to my other razor.

enjoying the shaver....debating if i should up-grade to the "7 series"

In order to get rid of light whiskers I have to press hard and go over the same spot repeatedly, leaving my skin red and raw. It is faster for me to shave with a traditional razor. If your planning to make up the price by keeping it a long time and not buying razors think again, according to the manual you have to buy cleaner refills for the docking station and you should avoid washing it with water. Does not work at all for anything but the lightest of whiskers. Docking station is too big. For the amount of money I expected a much better experience.
