I was reluctant to buy a new shaver. I had been using a Norelco rotary shaver for years. It was the kind that dispensed the shave lotion as you shaved. I liked it so much I even replaced the battery in it once! I still had to use a safety razor to finish shaving my neck as I have fine neck hair. However, the battery was going dead and the lotion was only able to be found on Amazon for wayyy more than the original cost. Enough about the old shaver. This Braun shaver is AMAZING! The foil does a fantastic job! I have been using it for 3 months now and have never had to finish shaving my neck with a safety razor! I really like the idea of the cleaning/lubrication system as well. I haven't had to replace the cleaning solution yet. (I do only have to have once a week, though). The only complaint that I have is that it didn't come with a blade cover (other Braun shavers do, for the price of the shaver, this one should, I contacted Braun and could order it for $5). It did come with a hard carry case though. All in all, I will never use a rotary shaver or Brand other than Braun again.

I love how close this shaves and how well it keeps its charge.

I bought series 5 for my dad since I liked my series 7 so much. He seems to be enjoying it as much as I do mine so beyond that I can't personally compare. Mom though does compliment on how smooth it is.

Got this to replace a Braun series 3 razor. This is far superior and well worth the extra $. Very close and comfortable shave for face and neck and excellent battery life. Very quick charging time. Easy to clean, but I haven't used the charging stand with the cleaning solution yet. I will do that to keep the shaver head clean and lubricated to prolong the head life and sharpness.

I have used the shaver a handful of times and it has lasted long on a single charge.

As soon as my old Braun started having problems, I knew it was time to move on to the latest model. I was not disappointed. Quieter, charges/cleans much quicker, shave is smoother!

My previous Braun lasted 7 years. This one is a terrific upgrade. Quiet, easier to hold, better cleaning. Cleaning refills are everywhere so you'll have no problem finding them.

Been using the razor for just over a month now and am happy with the shave I get from it. Seems to work best if growth not past one day. The cleaning system works well and the razor holds its charge just fine.

Been using the normal razor blade for more than 13 years now in the military until i tried one of these baby and it completely changed my normal routine. This product not only give me the clean and close shave that will meet the grooming standard of the military but it also definitely gave my facial skin a huge break from regular irritation and redness. Happy with the product!

Holds charge for weeks, close shave, good quality, highly recommed

I've always used straight razors but they're a lot more time consuming. Decided to try out the electric shaver and I really like it so far. The trade-off is that I have to shave more often, like every day as opposed to every two days but it's much faster and less clean up.

This shaver is nice and smooth. I have never used a shaver like this one and I am impressed. I shave everyday and the battery life for me lasts 2 weeks. Long story short, I do not have any complaints and I am enjoying all of the features of this shaver

I stuck with Braun because I've shaved with one for 25 years. Always been satisfied and this one is even better. I especially like the rotating head. I can get the longer hairs on the neck with the clipper. Very easy to clean.

Small and portable nice close shave, obviously not as close as a blade but for someone with sensitive skin I have to use the electric shavers and this is my second one.. I prefer this style over the circular rings

I had my razor for a time now and love it. It gives a great close shave in no time. The cleaning indicator lets me know when to clean it. It's also quieter than my previous razor which is nice.

This is a great shaver! After having a Series-3 shaver for years, I decided to buy this Series-5 shaver. In my opinion, it gives a great close shave without irritating your skin.
