    I've relied upon Braun shavers for a couple decades, and this latest 5000 Series unit meets the same level of expectations and experiences that I've had with all prior 3000-5000-7000 Series shavers. Slight feature improvements are always a plus. Will likely never switch to another brand.

    So I have been using electric razors for some time. Every time I would shave I would get razor burns. So I talked to someone and he suggested I use a straight razor. After I used this a couple of times, I can say I am razor burn less. This was worth the money.

    I have had the pleasure of owning a Braun Series 5 shaver for several years. Till this date, I have never encountered a problem. The razor holds a charge long enough to take many a shave. I usually replace the foil head and cutting razors after 13-14 months of use, which I consider to be a very decent life. The razor is very easy to clean and reassemble. It should be noted that I have also owned other electric razors made by different companies, and nothing works as well as a BRAUN. Braun is definitely the one to own. Look no further, your buying the best.

    I've been a Braun user for over 30 years. This is my second 5090cc. BOTH were defective. The device stops about 10 times during each shave, and the locking mechanism on the 2nd one was a joke. These used to be great razors. Not anymore. I'm done with Braun for good. A real shame. I was a fan for life. Not not. Best Buy was great about the return, but they're always cool.
