This speaker was cheaper instore, which was a great surprise. The sound is awesome with deep bass. More than I expected from a portable speaker.

Braven Balance nonfunctional out of the box would not Bluetooth pair and played static, not music when hard connected with mini audio cable. I returned it and purchased a Sony Portable Bluetooth Speaker Black SRSX55BLK. It paired with my Surface Pro 3 within 5 seconds and had excellent sound. Comparing sound between the two store demo units, the Sony had much more clarity and range, the Braven had more bass but it was muddy and annoyingly reverbatory.

I purchased this for use on my boat. I wanted something that is waterproof and that has good sound quality. This speaker did both.

I love this speaker I always to lower it because it booms. I love this speaker for the beach, pool, shower. I even love it more than my standing tower Bluetooth speaker I am going to invest in a sound bar so I will be using it less in my room and more for when I go on trips or other portable reasons

We purchased this speaker to cover a variety of activities from camping, to washing cars, to cooking. It has been great overall!

Love my new speaker! And it comes with international adapters for the charger so I can literally take it anywhere!

The sound quality of the speaker is great, but when I had first purchased it the color was not the color pictured on the case of it. I thought it was a darker purple, almost blue, but in reality it's a very vibrant shade of purple. In the end I ended up exchanging it for just a black one.

It's nice for a small space I thought it would be a little louder and more base for the price. But it sits on my dresser and it does get used

The only reasons i didn't give this a five star rating is the quality of sound could be better and a pass through output should be included. For the price it is fantastic.

This speaker sounds amazing! It sounds much better than the JBL, Beats, UE or Bose speakers that are in this size and it has a smaller price tag. The Braven has excellent base and can get super loud. Also it has a very long battery life and it will pick up my Bluetooth device from pretty far away just like it advertised. The speaker is also waterproof, which was just a bonus not a requirement for me. The colors on the speaker is vibrant, which I love.

Everything is awesome as far as quality goes but it's not as loud as you'd expect out of a 120$ speaker

After seeing this speaker at Target, I looked for it at Best Buy and purchased it online. It's a great product, sound is really good and the color is awesome. I would definitely recommend people to purchase it.
