I initially purchased this for the golf cart. I love having music play when shooting a round solo. Sound quality, great volume control, links effortlessly via Bluetooth and a great battery life are just the beginning. Major consideration was it's ability to shrug off the weather. I looked at other (larger name brand) set-ups, but a few had string warnings about not getting it wet. Here in Michigan, that's not always an option. Besides, the Braven can sit pool / lake side and I don't have to worry about it getting splashed. I was genuinely surprised with the sound quality. Indoors, the sound dispersion can fill a small room with confidence. I've used it with my laptop for music and movies and it is a giant step up compared to the built in speakers on the laptop. There are some very good speakers out there, but for my needs, the Braven was the best choice with no regrets. Rugged, tough, doesn't look like a teen toy, weather-proof, can recharge my phone while playing, and more; including fitting perfectly in nearly every golf cart I've used this past season. I highly recommend the Braven.

I initially bought this speaker for work, I work in a room where I have to deal with very loud exhaust fans as I work in a controlled environment with chemicals, and this being my only way to get me through the day. That being said, this speaker doesn't get as loud as I would have hoped for the purpose that I bought it, but I will continue further past this slight issue. I have listened to just about every type of song I could throw at this speaker and it handles everything with ease, it can handle music with a lot of highs mids and lows going on simultaneously, and the bass from this product is actually very impressive given its small size. The battery life of this speaker is exactly what I needed and I don't do any sort of charging devices with it, it lasts through a 10 hour work shift with ease, and the size makes it able to put almost anywhere. If you are looking for an affordable bluetooth speaker and don't want to spend a lot of money, this product is for you, and this is coming from someone that has an ear for sound, this speaker can handle it all.

Bought this Bluetooth speaker for outside around the pool and for camping. Very very pleased with it, so easy to connect and lots of battery life. It also had the best Bluetooth range of the speakers I considered before purchase. Speaker is waterproof and rugged and the sound is terrific. I would certainly purchase this item again and I recommend it with confidence.

In the two months we've had this I've used it several times for background music on the deck during parties, also for private listening while lounging on the sun porch during the day, or for use by the pool. It carries really well outdoors as well and, despite it's small size, has a really good amount of low-end. Not ground-shaking, of course, but enough that it sounds rich without the tinniness of many portable speakers. Also is nice that it is waterproof when you leave it overnight in the rain (oops). My only complaint is that it is difficult to tell when it is left turned on as the only indicator is a dim white light that flashes briefly about every 30 seconds. Note as well that the battery life is reduced considerably when you are charging a USB device with this. But you still get many, many hours of use before it wears down.

Was a bit pricy, but over all I'm satisfied with my purchase. I was able to take it on my last hiking trip and not worry about it messing up or having to be recharged.

Braven? Came across this by accident. Awesome speaker. Good bass. Long battery life. And waterproof? What more do you want?!

Where haven't we taken this speaker... Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Canada. This thing is extremely durable and does well in rain, sand, sun and doesn't break when you drop it. Big plus to buy this one is the portable charger that is built in. We've used it at the beach when our phone or GoPro is dead then boom, we are back out snorkeling

This Bluetooth speaker is awesome. We take it riding out in the woods with our side by side, we mounted it on the dash and the sound is loud and clear. It seems to be as durable as it is advertised to be.

We bought this product a month ago and just love it. The speaker has great sound. It is lightweight and holds charge for about 12 hours. We use it all the time!

Enjoyed this speaker initially, but we've noticed some issues the more we use it. The volume is inconsistent; it will start out fine, then get too quiet to even hear no matter how much we turn it up (on the phone and speaker). Sometimes we have to turn everything off and reboot the bluetooth connection to get correct volumes. Other than that we enjoy the small size and easy portability.

Was one of the loudest portable speakers in store, and I can hear it very clearly on my bike. I'm just using the included strap to attach it to my bike. Sounds good also.
