I bought this and was a bit hesitant on the price. I needed something for the boat that had some water resistance and the solar panel sounded like it would make it play longer. The sound is pretty good and though it doesn't blast super load it is plenty loud. I actually found I used this a lot more than I thought it would. It is super rugged and can be used outdoors without worry of water or dropping it. Also it seems to play for a long time on a charge and even longer when using the solar panel. Had no problem playing all day.

Absolutely fantastic item! Love the solar panel, definitely helps add to the life line! Produces a nice amount of sound for its size! Definitely a rugged speaker compared to other rugged speakers! My husband is a semi-truck driver and he is very rough with his stuff, this speaker has been through some stuff and still works and looks like it's brand new!

The Braven is a perfect addition to my setup. It allows me to have a smaller setup for DJing in hallways at conventions. the volume is impressive for a small unit, and the clarity is still there even at max volume.

This speaker is fabulous I am able to charge my other items while this is playing music. The volume level is perfect to hear in a house that is 1600 Sq ft . I love that I can take this anywhere and my phone doesn't have to attached to it . I can link any Bluetooth item to this. The weight and portability is perfect to fit in your hand bag.

I was looking for a bluetooth speaker that could handle being bounced around on a golf cart and occasional exposure to rain. This is one tough speaker!! Great sound, but didnt get 5 stars due to occasional drops in blutooth connection to my iPhone.

Fantastic little device. Plays all day out in the sun without needing to be charged thanks to the solar panel. I was looking at the Fugoo speaker and saw this on display next to it. Sound was great although I liked how the Fugoo had speakers on all sides. Once I saw the expand-ability with this and the solar panel I was sold! Plus it was cheaper! This thing is great. I'm currently on vacation at the beach and I was able to use the solar panel to power the speaker all day while keeping my phone charged and plugged into the back of the speaker. WIN WIN WIN!!

Great sound, love that it is so compatible and not fragile. I've taken it to the beach, the pool, it's been dropped, and still works great. Good battery life.

A little bit heavy and cumbersum but good sound and i like the fact that it can be recharged with solar pannel.

The speaker is well built and has great sound. Holds a charge and is durable. Perfect for outdoor use.

I've used/experimented with several different types of bluetooth speakers. This one is by far the most durable and user friendly. Great sound. The USB charging port is a nice plus. Although I have not used the accessories (solar charging panel or action mount) all are well built. If you are looking for a good all around speaker, this is it.

was tired of having to find the cable and batteries to my old iHome speaker set. this unit is perfect with its long usage time. it wont charge my Nexus 6p but thats not why i got it. i like the fact it can charge itself with the inculded solar panel.

Great idea but could have been executed better.. battery is too small to charge any phome mow a days even half way let alone omay music at the same timr... stilm great sou d and durable for hoe tiny it js.

I looked at Bluetooth speakers for a bit and finally landed on this because it came with a solar charger and my intended use was for the beach and at our camper connects quickly and doesn't seem to dropout housing is very strong and shock proof

I straped this to the back of my bicycle for RAGBRAI and it worked perfectly. Never ran out of power as it recharged with the solar panels. I used it to recharge my phone as well.

This speaker works well enough. A bit bigger than what I wanted but having the solar top was a must! Over all I like it.

Love that you can charge speaker with the sun!! Also can plug your cell phone in and charge! Great sound for the size of speaker! Definitely would recommend.

Excellent overall. Sound is good but not great. Convenient and portable make for great decide for outdoors.

This little speaker has great sound for its size and build quality, with the added bonus of a solar panel on top to keep it charged.
