This is it. The final season to Breaking Bad, my favorite show, and it's phenomenal. Walt tries to adjust to a normal life, now out of the meth business, but his brother in law Hank causes things to go awry. These final episodes are all amazing, as tensions rise and rise. Everything great about Breaking Bad is front and center in this final season - the acting, the suspense, the character arcs, the story. Things change between Walt and Jesse, and Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, as always, portray these characters wonderfully. Character arcs are wrapped up, along with many plot details, leaving fans with a sense of awe and closure. But just like past seasons on the show, you don't know what could happen next. Every episode is great, and like I said before, things are just wrapped up so well. This is just a wonderful ending to a wonderful show.

Spoiler Alert: The action and suspense continue as Walt has made his transformation from mild mannered high school chemistry teacher to full on drug king-pin. Along with Jesse, Mike, and some other unsavory characters you'll meet along the way, Walt makes his attempt to set up and run a drug operation as or more successful than that of Gus Fring's. But like anything that involves Walter White, there are bound to be a few mishaps and murders along the way. In many ways I believe this fifth season of Breaking Bad may be the best (although season four was top notch as well). Plot points and character arcs begin to come to a close and although not all questions are answered at the end of this season, we really begin to understand why Mike calls Walt a "ticking time bomb."

My wife and I streamed this series for a while on Netflix, but one day I picked up Season 2 on DVD at Best Buy. I love all the extra features. We usually watch an episode and then watch the "Behind the Scenes" features where they explain what was going on with the characters, the symbolism and imagery, and the making of the episode. I also enjoy the gag reel, with outtakes that show just how much fun the actors were having on the set. This DVD set of Season 5 is great, with two extra features for each episode and commentary tracks so you can re-watch an episode while the actors, director, and writers are having fun discussing it and joking around. It's MUCH better than just streaming the shows.

Hopefully if you are reading this and are interesting in getting the last season on blu-ray that you have already seen seasons 1-5. If so, then you know just how great this series has been and boy does it not disappoint in its last season! While I will not obviously tell you what happens in the season, I will say that is worth getting in every fashion. It comes with all the episodes, as well as a digital copy, and a special mythbusters episode dealing with breaking bad. The ONLY thing that i wish this came with is the documentary that comes with buying the entire series, as it includes the finale table read and other pieces of cool footage/info on the show. Overall, you will not regret purchasing this.

This is a must own item for any fan of Breaking Bad. The cinematography alone is definitely a reason to buy this on Blu Ray over DVD as the sound a picture clarity can't be beat. Best Buy was the first store to have this final season on sale after it's release. My only complaint (it's minor and almost not worth mentioning) is that the episode guide pamphlet slides in over the disc so that the pamphlet has to be removed in order to get the disc out.. Blu Ray disc cases are notoriously small so there probably isn't another way of placing the pamphlet inside the case but it would be nice if they could figure something out.

Received the online order and for some reason, this disc had a WalMart sticker on it and inside the shrink-wrap packaging, there was another crumpled shrink-wrap. I can't believe someone at the warehouse would send this out. After several phone calls to see if Best Buy would exchange an item with a WalMart sticker on it, I finally was able to confirm they would. Kind of a pain to drive 75 minutes one way to exchange it when the goal was to shop online to avoid this trip. Anyway, I don't hold it against Breaking Bad at all and LOVE the series. Highly recommend!!

All good things must come to an end; so does the saga of WW. While we all knew it would probably end this way, it was awesome how WW took care of all the details, before checking out. The cast is/was awesome. They have left us all something very special, During this 6 year journey. What started out as a guy just wanting to make sure his family would be OK, comes full circle. I think all fans of BB find a little of themselves from time to time in the story..... It is sad to see it end, but wow, what a send off! Adios WW, see you on the other side!

Each season of this TV Series gets better and better. Season 5 is a two part season and you surely won't want to miss it! Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are fantastic in the show, as well as the rest of the supporting cast. If you haven't yet watched this show I highly suggest doing so. It is one of the greatest TV shows of my generation and people will be talking about this show in the likes of other shows such as; Twin Peaks, The West Wing & Sopranos. If you don't watch it you will be left in the dark. What are you waiting for? Get to watching!

This is one great season! If you like gripping, intense drama then this show is for you. It ends on a cliffhanger (won't spoil it here) but suffice it to say that from the very first episode it goes full speed into the story and does not stop. I purchased this blu ray season from my local Best Buy at a very affordable price. The acting is superb, the visuals great in HD blu ray 1080p, but I will say one negative is that the special features are not long enough. If you can live with that though, this is a fantastic season to pick up.

Stumbled onto Breaking Bad flipping through the channels one night and during a small marathon. The next day I owned the series and spent the next two weeks watching the series back to back. The story, from start to finish, kept me riveted and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. The actors, from Walt to Skylar to Jesse and Walt Junior and Hank all were spot on. I highly recommend the series to anyone looking for a good, original drama that's well acted and entertaining. And isn't being entertained what we're looking for?

The concluding run of episodes of one of the best television dramas ever made. Viewed overall, the story of the rise and fall of Walter White ranks as one of the most satisfying and complete narratives in a medium that is prone to dissappoint. The acting, the writing- nearly everything about this series contributed to making it one that I would want to rewatch again and again. This final season was a masterful culmination of a narrative journey that did not dissappoint.

One of the best television shows of all keeps getting better. You can tell there is a lot of love put in by everyone that is involved. It is bitter sweet that this will be coming to an end soon. It's too bad that it's ending, but also good that it won't be overstaying it's welcome and turning sour. If you haven't watched the show or gave up on it, then you need to pick it up before the final episodes hit. Twists and turns are around every corner and this show is not for the weak of heart or stomach.

The resolution and sound are what you expect from Blu-ray, the best you can get right now before 4K becomes widespread. This is the second of two DVD sets comprising the last season of the show. They call this "The Final Season", but it was actually a continuation of the first 8 episodes of Season 5, just shown about a year later on TV. There are the usual commentary tracks, behind the scenes, and an assortment of extra features for the hardcore fan. This is what you'd expect from a TV DVD series, but $34.99 for 8 episodes is a bit outrageous. It's irritating that AMC broke the last season into 2 parts, meaning you have to buy 2 DVDs for almost $75 just to get a total of 16 episodes, when the other 4 seasons were all 13 episodes for $39.99 each when they first came out. I was pretty much forced to buy both disc sets for Season 5, since I already had the first 4 seasons in my collection. Guess they had to milk this cash cow as much as they could at the end!

My wife and I didn't watch Breaking Bad while it was on TV. We bought the DVDs, which are MUCH better than streaming because the DVDs have fantastic short features -- one feature on the meaning of the episode with great interviews of the cast and crew and one feature on the making of the episode. There are other features, too, including a gag reel that we loved. We are so sad to get to the end of this amazing series, and we highly recommend this DVD set.

A fitting end to such an iconic TV character. Even though the 5th season was split up, the final episodes are no less incredible. Not for the faint of heart, a fitting end to the remarkable journey of a cancer patient/chemistry teacher turned drug lord. If you're a fan of great acting, writing, great quality blu-ray's, then I strongly suggest you make this purchase. Your only excuse for not buying this is that you want to get the Complete Series Barrel Collection.

Sadly the (I'm my opinion) greatest show ever has came to a close. But the silver lining is that, the writers and Vince G. ended the show in the best way possible. These final 8 episodes will make you feel every emotion in the book. In this shows 62 episodes, I did not once feel disappointed by any episode. Sure some were slower, yes. But it was all necessary for the story. I'll miss you BreakingBad. We had great chemistry!

Went for a good while waiting to buy the last season at a good price. It was well worth the wait! Had to wait til Christmas to open it and not a day went by from black Friday that I didn't wonder what I was missing. Sat down and watched 4 episodes before I had to cut it off. If I hadn't I'd finished it in one day. Only bad part is you have to buy the second set separately which I think is a rip off.

Picked this up on blu ray at my local BB and was very pleased with the price! This is a great show and this season is no exception. What a great way to end the series. This season looks great on blu ray with crisp high definition visuals. My only complaint would be that the special features were a little short. Other than that, it is definitely worth checking out if you are a Breaking Bad fan.

Action packed and entertaining, great to buy and keep to watch again with friends who want to keep up with this tv series. I watched this on net flix and tv but love to have the DVD to catch parts I missed. This series has ended but not for me since I have the series. Interesting to look up drug making and "franch" dressing. Brave and bold series with good information for good conversation
