I was debating between a pressure cooker and a slow cooker. They've increased the temperatures on slow cookers, so you don't get the same kind of slow cooking that you did when crockpots first came out. So I opted for a pressure cooker. I love it, and use it two or three times a week, usually for rice dishes, pot roast, or stew. I have no complaints about the product, but I deducted a star because the instruction booklet is confusing. Pressure cooking can be dangerous because of the pressures and the steam. The instruction booklet had a drawing with each item identified. Pretty normal stuff. But the explanation of how to use the pressure cooker used different terms than the ones used in the diagram. For a first time pressure cooker user, it was a little nerve wracking to try to figure out what was going on. The booklet also showed the jiggle valve being installed and removed to release the steam with a bare hand. Believe me, you want to have a top notch pot holder on your hand when you release the pressure. You might be able to get away with installing the valve with a bare hand, but I don't recommend it. So great product, but make sure you know what you are doing when you use it.

Big for the price. Love to cook everything I can on it.

I am very happy with my new pressure cooker. It seems to be well constructed and durable.

The "pot lid arm" broke in pieces the first time I tried to close. I'm going to return the merchandise and never to buy anything else from this brand.
