This blender is well made as are most Breville products. The jar is glass which I consider to be a big plus because plastic tends to retain odors after time. Very powerful and easily blends frozen fruits to a smooth consistency. I've been using it at least twice a day since I bought it. Easy to clean and the single dial makes it easy to use. The only negative would be that it's a little loud but all blenders are going to make some noise so it's a very slight negative. I've paid much more for inferior blenders so this was a good purchase.

I am very impressed with this beauty. I specifically bought a Breville because I have always found their products to be of very high quality, and this is no different. It blends excellently, has a great quality feel to it, and cleans easily. I have yet to find something it struggles with blending (I have even used it for a few food processing tasks and it excels). The only down side is that it is the 'mini' so it is slightly smaller than a regular blender - but not by much. The pitcher is nearly an entire gallon (how much more could you need?) and unlike other blenders the hemisphere technology sucks down the liquid on top meaning there is no 'max fill'. You can fill the entire thing up to the rim and it still blends wonderfully.

I went on America's Test Kitchen website to look at their reviews for blenders. This brand ranked in the top five. It wasn't this particular model, but I decided to purchase anyway because it was on sale. I paid under $100 compared to other larger more upscale models in the $500 price range. I'm giving this a 4 star rating because it does a fantastic job of blending my smoothies. There are no "little bits" left like with my old blender. It finely chops spinach, kale and all berries. I took a couple extra smoothies to work and my coworkers liked them. One even said it was blended better than his smoothies he makes at home with his higher priced blender. The only downsides are that it is loud and it takes a little longer to blend.

I needed a blender that would work to make smoothies as well as general blending for recipes which required it. The Breville fills the bill nicely. Breakfast smoothies are a snap resulting in a creamy, smooth breakfast drink. I've not yet had the opportunity to use with other recipes, but love the fact that it doesn't walk on the kitchen counter when in use.

I totally love my new blender I replace my 10 yr blender because it was licking and the price was just right plus I used my coupons What else can I ask for it blends perfectly chops etc etc really recommended this product.

bought this using some reward bucks to get a better quality blender and that I did - love it for making smoothies and margaritas!

I have only had a hand full of blenders over the last 50 years. I tend to avoid the blenders that promote features over the ability to just blend, and this one blends just fine.

The motor is powerful. The loop on the cover makes it easy to open and the tight seal on the lid keeps things inside.

I really love it! I was skeptical about the blender and thought about buying a cheaper one. I said what the heck and was very impressed in how well it mixes food.

I was looking for a blender to mix some protein shakes with frozen fruits. This Breville is fantastic! No more thick shakes/smoothies thanks to the purée speed!

I have gone thru a couple of blenders in the quest for great margarita slushies. This one fits the bill. Works great, enough power and easy to clean.

Blender has a hard time blending milk and ice cream. It sounds like the clutch has disengaged and the motor is winding out.

I should have returned back to the store, does not have the settings like grate, grind , etc ; it is not efficient when chopping or crushing frozen fruit. Thumbs down.

This is a great purchase and value. A good overall blender.

Another excellent Breville product: Top Quality!!!

I had purchased this mainly to make smoothies at my office. Initially was impressed with the solid feeling unit. Unfortunately, it did a poor job of crushing the ice and blending ingredients. In addition, much louder than the ninja I have at home. Reminded me of a small jet taking off.

I'm at awe with how amazing it works, especially in prepping my dinner.

It works as described and I would recommend this product
