Decent capacity & boils quickly enough. Looks good. Notification ping too sensitive & pings whenever you put it down, which gets annoying!

I bought this about a year ago, and despite other reviews my unit started giving me problems - turned off randomly. It was already past the 1yr warranty so I was a little nervous contacting Breville customer service. Within 1 day, their customer service shipped me a new replacement and I sent the faulty product back. No problems since then. I am not usually wowed by customer service but this experience was truly amazing!

I found this while looking for a replacement for an old Russel Hobbes electric kettle. Turns out the Russell Hobbes aren't made the same as they used to be, so I looked for something with similar durability and metal as opposed to the mostly plastic electric kettles out there. I stumbled upon the Breville and was only disappointed that it was (in my mind) a little high. In the end I was probably wrong, the Cuisinart was more and less appealing aesthetically. This is a great way to have tea, coffee (thanks to my breville, I moved to a coffee press), oatmeal, you name it. And, I hate to admit it but one of my favorite things is the blue illuminated light and pleasent "ding" when the water is done! It feels nice and durable and after about a year I still haven't had to de-scale it or anything like that!

my family loves to boil water for coffee every morning in our new breville kettle. it looks absolutely very elegant on the counter. the blue light looks very pleasingt to the eye. the unit by it self is an eye catcher! you dont need to boil a whole lot of water for coffee. just boil what you need exactly. i would recommend this product for a bridal shower/wedding gift. use your reward coupons if u have any and save a bunch of money for it. it comes well packed and on time. the stainless steel body is very chic!! a product everyone must have. simply simply love it!!.

I have had several plastic electric kettles and they didn't last but a few months. After 6 years this Kettle still boils water fast. The release button for the top sticks now but its not hard to deal with. I am going to buy a new one and would recommend it to anyone.

This is the best product - I drink a lot of tea and the water gets hot so fast. This was definately worth the price. I would recommend this for anyone.
