You can use beans or grounds. You can steam the milk within a minute. Only bad thing is the noise, it gets pretty loud.

My machine worked great for a little over a year. Now it's leaking and doesn't get up to pressure! I have no money to fix this expensive piece of crap! Please don't waste your money! They're built to break after the warranty runs out!

Machine would calibrate correctly so I couldn’t use it.. it wouldn’t pour espresso at all so I think I got a bad machine. I had the touch one before and have always loved Breville products!

This machine was too complicated to use, had to return it. Unless you are ready to weight your coffee every time you going to make yourself a cup, don’t buy this one

It is a great for espressos but I expected more for the price

I have had the machine 6 weeks. I left it on the auto settings and enjoyed making shots with no problems. This was the reason I bought this machine so I could get the feel of it before venturing out on my own. Now it wouldn’t stop making the shot, even with the pressure is correct. It overflows my cup each time. It takes me three or four times to get the right pressure. Again, I kept everything as it came from the factory, not changing the grind or the pressure I use to tamp the grounds. Now I’m struggling to stop the water before it over flows and try to figure out how to get the correct extraction time and pressure. Can’t return it to Best Buy after 15 days. So I’m stuck trying to figure out how to make an almost $800 machine work! I regret buying this.

I started to notice the unit is leaking after only 3 months. I called Breville and after troubleshooting with the rep through video call. She created the ticket and have me send it in. I send it my 3 months old with little usage, almost brand new unit, and the unit they send back to me after the repair was not my original unit. I’m very sure its refurbished unit because the stainless looked very old and rusted. Definitely not what I expected from Breville. It’s an expensive unit and you would expect it to last longer or at least don’t screw me up Breville. Very disappointed. It would be my last purchase item from Breville.

The machine looks well built but it doesn't work. Water leaks into the bottom tray whenever making espresso or using the steam wand. A full tank will be near empty after 3-5 times using either function. Maybe because of the water leaks, the pressure never got to the "espresso range" as per the manual and a shot would be done in 5 seconds which seem way too quick. Also tried different beans, different grind settings, different amount of grounds, different amount of pressure...none seems to work. Gave up. Very tempted to give it another try but have been seeing some bad reviews as well. Not sure if the later batches of this machine are bad.

Broke within the 1st 6 months and was under warranty and Best Buy had us contact Breville who had it for about a month. Got it back from Breville and it worked for about another 6 months and stopped working again. Now out of warranty, Breville won’t respond so we took it to Best Buy Service and the said they’d only service if we would’ve bought an extended warranty. I just want it fixed but Best Buy won’t do anything and we called around town and everyone says they can’t get parts and can’t service.
