This tea pot is the best, I've had my eye on this one for years, but was scared to pull the trigger due to the price, it never goes on sale, however wished I would have purchased it sooner it's great love it as do my family members and friends.

So far, so good... Works as claimed, for years I was scalding tea in my coffee pot, I didn't know until recently what a mistake that was. My loose leaf now justifies the high price I pay for it.

I am a Breville fan (I own a smart oven, grill, 2 coffee makers, waffle iron, juicer etc.) And I do like the functionality of the tea maker. However I was very disappointed to learn that the one part that can break, the glass carafe, has no replacement part. Your only option is to buy a whole new tea maker. I was washing the kettle after it's last use and lightly (I do mean lightly) tapped the side of the glass with an Oxo dish brush and it broke. I called Breville support to order a replacement only to find out there was no replacement. At first they offered 20% off a new kettle. I was not happy with the answer and they offered 30% off. That still made the cost right at $200. I asked what would happen if the new carafe broke. In the one year warranty period they will replace it. A year and a day you have to buy another new kettle. I get that a company can't pick up the tab for everything, but I do think it is a design flaw that they don't want to stand behind. I barely touched the side with the brush and it broke and am left with an expensive paperweight. Unless you are sure you won't ever tap the side of the kettle I would say buyer beware.

I like it makes good tea. Gave it a 4 because it is loud when heating the water. Nicely build otherwise.

Looked at several different brands. This by far beats them all. Works really well with teavena tea. Best features, the basket rises out of the water so you don't over cook the tea.

This tea maker is awesome it allows you to customize your tea or use the preset settings i am very satisfied with this purchase.

What can I say. This is an all-in-one tea maker. Love it so much I would Buy for everyone I know how drinks tea of any kind. Brews right every time.

Does it's job. You will have to increase the brew time to make it stronger if you are mixing your tea with milk. No complaints.
