Productive but make more run noise than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and very easy to use. Connects to WiFi, but entry of router passcode can be cumbersome if done through the single line onboard screen using repetitive key entry. If using WiFi, then there are also faster, easier to use, alternatives for setup provided by Brother. Have used Brother printers of various designs for several years and they have proven reliable. This model replaces an earlier version, which I simply wore out.

Great little printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got if for my son. Hooked right up to his tablet and cell phone. Nice smaller size. This is a Blk. toner only, he didn't need color toner, but he doesn't use a printer all that often so a laser printer was the best for him. In the past ink has dried up from lack of use. Quiet, prints quick, easy hookup. Everything he needed.

Good Solid Wireless Laser Printer (B&W only)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was delivered Approximately six weeks ago and has been very reliable and solid. Not overly complex. Easy to set up. Prints like a charm. It seems like the drums last longer than most others. It is Easily picked up by our computers in my house and on my network. Very reasonable price, especially when it was on sale here at Best Buy.

Only way to print...laser .Dream Machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRINTER. Very easy to hook up to wifi. Connected printer both to my phone and tablet through wifi. This is just a printer....no copier....but i did not need copier. I can use my phone or tablet to copy by taking picture with camera and send to file or gallery and turn on printer and have it print it out. So fast, no irritating ink jet fillers. Brother laser printers ...my first one.....staying with it. Love it !

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up via Wi-Fi or USB cable, reasonable speed and print quality, quiet. This is just a printer, small enough to place on a shelf, and I believe will last a long time.

So easy!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me more time to unpack this printer than it did to set it up. I simply plugged it in, loaded paper and the printer cartridge and put in my wifi code. I went to the settings on my Mac Book Pro and my wife's Mac Air and told them to find the printer. One they found it, the software loaded automatically. Same simple setup with our phones and iPad and one old Windows 10 PC. Printing is fast, crisp and clear. Perfect for light work in a home office. My only criticism is that the default settings in the printer allow it to go into what is called a "deep sleep' mode. When it goes into that mode, you have to turn the printer on and off again which is a PITA if the printer is in the basement. But, you can turn that off in the settings on the printer. This is my fifth Brother printer - this is my second laser , the other three are multifunction ink jet and are still in use at other locations. I am pretty much sold on the Brother printers because of their reliability and ease of use and compatibility with both Macs and PCs. Overall, great little printer, great price.

Brother printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Brother wireless laser printer I have purchased. It is almost a duplicate to my first Brother model HL2340DW. I would guess I used the first machine at least 5 years printing literally thousands of pages. Both printers are quirky, because they like to go into a "sleep mode" You have to get it out of that state once in awhile. Otherwise I would ay it is a no non-sense printer and very economical if you buy generic toner.

Great B&W laser printer for a very reasonable cost
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, out of all the printers I have used the Brother brand has never failed me(hope i dont jinx myself here). I have tried HP, Cannon and Lexmark. Something always went sideways with them. This printer is a basic black and white laser printer. It prints fast, and the toner gets you LOTS of pages printed before you need to replace it. And the price is very resonable...under $150. So this is my 3rd Brother laser printer in 10 years and i will continue to use this brand. They make a quality product. Easy to use, lasts a long time and makes me happy.

Slow setup, terrible screen, perfect printing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've messed around with inkjets for years and finally couldn't take it. After the latest in a long line of high end printers decided it didn't want to print after sitting idle for a few months, even with brand new cartridges, it was time to part ways. Fortunately this brother more than meets all of my needs. It's compact, fast, flawlessly handles duplex printing, supports larger drums for massive numbers of prints, has built in wireless ... I mean it all works great. Only complaint is that setting it up wirelessly to start is a hassle. The LCD screen looks like it came off of the original gameboy. It's even difficult to tell if you've turned the thing off unless you're shining a light from directly overhead. Not a problem in a small office if you're leaving it on 24/7, but I only need to print things a few times a year, so this stays off most of the time. That's actually the greatest feature of this printer, and any laser printer really. You can let it sit for months, or years, turn it on and it still prints flawlessly. No print heads to clean, no nozzle checks, no BS preventing you from printing at the push of a button. Simple. The way it should be. Tips - - maybe set it up wired first, and use the software on your computer to set up wireless. without a full keypad this took ages to set up properly. - turn off sleep mode - it causes a lot of problems for people when the printer goes to sleep and doesn't properly wake. just turn it off unless you're leaving it on 24/7 - disable the "toner low" notification - once toner low is triggered by the printer you won't be able to print until you install a new drum. if you disable it you can print all the way to the end of the drum, even as the ink begins to become increasingly faded. do this during setup, because if you wait until you see your first "toner low" notification it's too late, you have to disable it first or install a new drum. There's a lot of ink left in these drums when they hit "low", and why would you throw away all of those prints? Overall I love it. I would definitely buy a brother again, and when the time comes I will.

Great black and white printer!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laser printer for printing basic documents, recipes, coupons, etc. The printer connected to our wireless network with no issues. Brother supplies regular updates. 10/10 Would Buy again. I bought it on sale so the lower price was a bonus.

Great printer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like that this printer is fast, and wireless. It's a great price for a wireless laser printer. The only con I have noticed so far is that when I go to print wirelessly, it takes a few seconds for the printer to show up as an available printer, when my other (non-laser) Brother printer is instantly available for printing.

High quality value for the modest price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Brother printer in use in my household. The other is a color laser. I have owned 3 other brands of printers over the past 25 years and Brother has outperformed them all. This machine is fast with sharp clear print. Easy to install and use. Only wish is that it had a longer feed tray to insure an improved stable entry of paper or envelop when using the manual feed option.

Simple and efficient
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good and I’m banking on this Brother printer to last many years. I did a lot of research on laser printers and decided on a Brother because of the great reviews and price. This printer is very basic…black and white and printer only but that’s all I need at home. We have a Brother all in one at the office I work at and it’s going on 9 years since purchased! That was enough proof for me to make this purchase.

Small business beast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little b/w laser printer. Doesn't hold a whole lot of paper, but it is small enough for a desk and perfect for a small business that isn't throwing a huge load at it. It is fast and has been extremely reliable for the last year.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prints quickly and efficiently. Very easy to set up with my Apple laptop. Great product so far
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have owned for several months now with no issues. We accepted that we needed to spend a little more to replace a couple of inkjets that we've gone through. We finally opted for this model, which seemed to be a good balance of price for quality. We have used for household purposes and have experienced no issues. Very easy to set up and to connect to network for wireless printing.

Efficient Printer at a Reasonable Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer works as advertised. It was easy to set up and performs basic print jobs well. Both the printer, itself, as well as replacement toner are very reasonably priced. Brother printers have never let me down!
