Posted .We understand your Brother LC2033PKS cartridges did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more ink and will shorten the life of the ink cartridge. Had print head problems with the yellow requiring cleaning. Cleaned the print head 2 times and was completely out of ink. Never printed the first page.

After installing the ink cartridges, I noticed the ink levels showed low on my printer. Thought it must've been a glitch. The next time I went to print something, the ink showed to be empty. I tried to exchange the ink cartridges, but Best Buy wouldn't allow the exchange. There goes $60+ down the drain.

Unfortunately they don't sell the colors separately. Typicly I run out of yellos first, and have to replace all three. Don't buy the Brother color printers and you won't need the ink cartridges.
