Too expensive

According to the package label, you should be able to print 550 pages from one cartridge. In reality, you are do8ng good to get 100 pages.

Posted .Hi, stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.

I tried to return it to Best Buy and they said I had to go through Brother. It's been a nightmare trying to resolve this issue.

Needs more ink

I need my printer for school and using factory ink has kept this machine running and printing great color docs since day one. The price with my elite discount or price matching bestbuy.com is very reasonable.
