Ink fine associated printer no good

Posted .Stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.

I never print color I only print black/white, but it seems I run out of color just as fast as i do black. Not to satisfied with it just haven't taken the time to search for a better printer.

Cartridges work well enough for average home use.

Waste of money

They were empty after a short copy of several copies needed ( 7 pages of 30% color ). I ran t bgg e copies, and one of the color cartridges (yellow) was showing low ink. I thought it was incorrect, so I pulled it out looked at the window and it was low. I thought it would work with about ½ showing yellow ink . I replaced it and made a color copy. The yellow ink, and the blue were saying low ink . The copy was ok. So I made another copy of the same page. The yellow, blue and, now magenta show low ink. So I pulled them out and put them back . I took another page with less color to make a copy. I made 2 copies. The second one was not good enough to use. The blues, yellow, and magenta, are saying low ink. Totally unacceptable. Ive bought, and used other sets of these LC201Y ,LC201B and LC201M and they turned out in the range specified by Brother. That's why I'm so dissatisfied with the last purchase of LC201M. LC201Y. And LC201B. 1☆ only for Low or improperly filled ink cartridges.

Caution! Before buying, read this!

You get a few pages before you have to buy it again. As far as ink goes, it’s cheaper than most, but it’s not worth the hassle of never knowing if you’re going to run out when you need it. Very disappointed in the printer as a whole and probably won’t buy another. At least it prints well and has nice features like WiFi printing.
