Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the high-quality keyboard and the ease of use offered by the Pro+ Wireless Keyboard. Many appreciate its sleek design and long-lasting battery life. However, some users find the magnetic cover unreliable and the overall weight to be a drawback. The keyboard's functionality is widely praised, but improvements to the cover's design are suggested.

I chose Brydge Pro+ over Magic Keyboard

I bought both the Apple Magic Keyboard and the Brydge Pro+ for my new M1 11” iPad Pro. I have had Brydge keyboards since my iPad Air and iPad Pro 10.7”. The Brydge is Bluetooth and has to be recharged every few month's but once paired, works as soon as it’s opened. The Magic Keyboard pairs automatically and charges from the iPad. I liked that I could easily ‘Swipe Up” and remove my iPad from the Apple Magic. The ‘hang in the air’ design of the Apple was only good for typing on a table. The Brydge is good everywhere from recliner to sofa to bed and goes from 0 - 180 degrees verses 125 degrees on the Apple. Brydge also has an extra row of function keys which is missing on the Apple. The Brydge trackpads is slightly bigger but the Apple has more multi-touch gestures. The Brydge’s Aluminum design feels more solid but also weighs more than Apple’s. If you want to remove your iPad often and prefer the increased trackpad gestures, get the Apple Magic Keyboard for $249-$299. If you plan to keep it attached and like using it ‘everywhere’, get the Brydge Pro+, which I found on sale at BB for $120 last year.

This essentially turns an iPad Pro into a power laptop-like machine. The trackpad and keyboard are excellent. Pairing is a little strange if you go by the instructions included - I'd suggest either Googling it or watching a YouTube video if you are not familiar with accessibility settings and pairing a device. The battery life (so far) seems to be excellent even with the backlit keys on the middle brightness setting. The keyboard is great, although if you use applications require F-keys (F1, F2, etc.) you'll need to use the onscreen keyboard or find a way around it. This is especially frustrating in Office apps - but not something I would ding this setup for. All the mobile keyboards for iPad seem to have the same issue. My chief complaint about this Brydge wireless keyboard is the weight and heft it adds to the iPad. Even when you remove the keyboard from the back case - it's still very bulky and adds a lot of weight. On the flip side, it feels sturdy and well-protective of the iPad.

Extremely Disappointed!!! Dont Waste the money

This was a really nice keyboard for the price or so i thought had a bout 6 months didn't really notice anything other then it's a really tight fit. after a zoom meeting i went to change the angle of the ipad it the keyboard cracked the bottom half of the screen plus scratched the heck out of the sides and bezels around the screen and messed up my digitizer. contacted the company to no help oh they did offer to give me 10% off my next purchase of their product which will never be again, Ill just pay the money and get the apple made one. Brand new iPad Pro and now I'm upset every time I use it because of this keyboard. I know the price seems good but when your screen is cracked and cost 499 to fix you will wise you would have just got the apple one.

Little MacBook, half the price of Magic Keyboard

Bottom line, this keyboard is a money saver. The trackpad sure lags a bit, but an update is coming. - This can hold my IPad great, and doesn’t tip. This is a little MacBook -Keyboard feels so good, really tactile - Battery life holds, and could last a long time. - The fact that I could open this like a laptop, and it instantly start working and paired....gold This is half the price of the Apple branded, if you wanted something to take off...you are already looking at the wrong product....go for the keyboard folio. Magic Keyboard is the best hands down, but I’m not buying something the price of a regular IPad.

Build quality: excellent Price: Excellent Looks: flawless MacBook style look. Makes your iPad Pro look like a little best performing computer, while we all know it is a tablet. Who is it for: for office workers, travelers, students. Throw it in the back pack and go anywhere, even while your are skateboarding. This makes your tablet a portable powerhouse. Why 4 stars: Doesn’t support gesture like Magic Wireless Keyboard and also slightly sluggish. Overall: Buy this if your budget is limited and you want a great look. Magic keyboard’s like pales to this keyboard’s look but its performance is suboptimal compared to magic keyboard. Thank you BestBuy for selling it. I RECOMMEND IT TO THE BUDGET CONSCIOUS.

I like the keyboard.I’m enjoying the OS shortcuts and the lighted panel. However, I’m disappointed that I had to remove my screen protector from my iPad in order for the iPad to fit/attach unto the keyboard. I went back to Best Buy the very next day only to find out that they don’t carry/sell a screen protector that’s compatible with the Brydge-Pro+Wireless Keyboard for 11-inch iPad Pro. As a result my screen is constantly smudged and dirty and requires cleaning several times daily. Also, the so called Magnetic cover is flawed. I falls off constantly and is very annoying. I don’t usually review products however I thought these were two important factors that had I known about it, would have stopped me from purchasing this keyboard.

Hard Pass! Keyboard Will Crack Your iPad Screen

Great Concept, Poor UX and Damage to iPad Screen I cannot recommend this product for iPad 11 users. PROs: Sleek design, easy to assemble and truly functions like a Mac once keyboard is Bluetooth synched and attached. CONs: I’m using an iPad 11 Pro with a glass film guard and it proved to be too much pressure for the small metal slots where your device rests. There keyboards grip henges are covered padded with a flim rubber that can’t endure daily use. Eventually the thin rubber padding cracks, exposing the metal hinges, which, unfortunately, will crack the corners of your iPad. So, the return on investment is low if you end up replacing your iPad screen. Also, the keyboard is small so the hyper-sensitive touchpad and the palm of your hand constantly come into contact, making it challenging to type without cursor interruptions.

The Brydge Pro+ Wireless Keyboard gives the iPad Pro a more laptop-like feel. The keys are reminiscent of a laptop and have a better feel than some other keyboard accessories that are just one plastic piece instead of individual keys. It is more pricey than most keyboards, but it’s sleek design is very much in the Apple ascetics.

I love the keyboard par of this case. I’m writing this review on it. The part I dont like is the part that goes on the back of the iPad is magnetic and thats the only thing holding it on. It hasn’t been a problem yet but I wish it was attached to the keyboard and not magnetically attached to the iPad.. The keyboard is great though with very premium build quality.

This keyboard is a cloae second to the new apple keyboard. If you want the very best, be prepared to pay top dollar for apples keyboars. If you want something close at a better pricepoint, this is it. Make sure to upgrade your firmware to enaure the trackpad experience is on par with apple trackpads.

Coming from a previous Brydge keyboard iteration, I felt that the build was to my liking as well as the aesthetics. When I heard a model was available with a built-in trackpad, I knew that I had to upgrade to it when I could. And I have been very happy with my purchase since then. I often get stares and glares from people wondering why I have a MacBook. It's fun telling people that they are wrong and it's an iPad Pro with a Brydge Pro+ keyboard AND trackpad. While it's likely not the best keyboard out there for the iPad Pro, it works well for me and the type of work that I do in my daily life. Plus the trackpad helps me eliminate the need to bring a mouse everywhere. And I still get pretty much every available gesture that would get with an Apple product.

The keyboard works great but the clips that hold the iPad in place need to be longer. The iPad sometimes slips out when you are picking it up.

I want to say that in a market short of more products like these Brydge possibly has the best of two sturdy-ish wireless keyboards. Sturdy, yes. But the back falls off a lot, but it isn’t necessary. And the keys were glitching but seem to be fine now.

    Brydge Pro Ipad keyboard

It is the best keyboard I have found for the 2020 Ipad Air because it is lighter than others, has one secure hinge like a laptop, is backlit, and has ultimate angles so is easy to place on a lap or your elliptical machine. But it is not really made for this new Ipad model so the back protection cover does not fit, and the wireless connection sometimes disconnects. But it is still the best keyboard product out there and a much more effective product than the two Apple keyboards, and less expensive than them. Hopefully Brydge will come out with a model that perfectly fits the 2020 Ipad Air soon.
