    Beware of the hinges

I love this keyboard. It’s a great product, that functions almost exactly like a classic MacBook keyboard. However but does have a couple design flaws . The hinges are weak and so are the rubber protective flanges that secure iPad to keyboard. Mine just broke even under gentle normal usage. I seldom remove iPad from keyboard and both of these parts failed. See attached pictures. I am upgrading to the Brydge Max which attaches to iPad with magnetic backing. Otherwise elegant product that made my 2021 iPad (12.9) look and feel similar to my wife’s new MacBook Pro.

It’s made out of thick metal similar to the MacBooks which I really like, the touchpad works really nice as well. I’ve enjoyed a lot so far!

Doesn’t live up to the hype

Contrary to all the hype, and everything published, the new iPad Pro does not allow you to use a second monitor for anything other than a mirror mode. This makes trying to use it as a laptop replacement nearly impossible. Save your money and buy a reputable 2-in-1 for half the price!

Really Unhappy with this product. The mechanics no only cracked my screen protector but also scratching my brand new iPad Pro 12.9. The return policy is only 15 days so buyer needs wear! It takes about 18 days your iPad to bend and crack!

Pros: Very sturdy with an macbook-like feel and look. Feels and looks somewhat premium. Battery lasts almost a month before needing to be recharged. Software can be updated. Cons: Hard to put iPad in and pull out. Very poor design for back of case. Back of case consists of a flat magnetic sheet that serves no purpose and does not protect device. Not screen protector compatible. 2nd most expensive case on the market when purchased. 2nd only to the magic keyboard Long delay to connect to ipad via Bluetooth each time it goes to sleep from inactivity Provides no protection. Heavy

MacBook looks with a better typing experience

Brydge makes, in my opinion, the most beautiful and high quality keyboards for iPad. These things are just amazing, the typing experience is first class, and the trackpad would be amazing if apple would just let Brydge use their algorithms. Yes they weigh a lot, especially when your iPad is mounted, but the typing experience is worth it. I have never had a more comfortable laptop keyboard before. The newer models with the full size magnetic back literally turn your iPad into a MacBook. It’s sad that this company is going under, as they make some incredible products. Let’s pour one out for the engineers at Brydge

The case is a nice quality metal, but it is very heavy and I didn’t like way you remove the keyboard. It feels like you’re going to break your iPad when take it on and off. Keyboard is really good but the track pad is not at the same quality. Battery lasted a long time and I like that you can adjust the angle in a lot of ways. But the heaviness and way you connect are dealbreakers for me.

It does the job, but I’d prefer the apple version. The Apple Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro has a better look and sleeker design. This will make your iPad twice the weight and bulk. The connection is also bluetooth while the Magic Keyboard is seamless, no connection step required just plug and play.

Good quality. Obviously not Apple quality, but gets the job done. Not much difference between Apple trackpad and this one. Easy to set up with bluetooth. Back of case is magnet, so it doesn’t clip on like a normal case would. If you’re looking for a keyboard that makes your ipad have more of a “laptop” feel without the Apple price, this will work just fine.

Turn your iPad into a MacBook!

Great keyboard. Although the price is steep, this product has delivered exactly as advertise. This has turned my iPad Pro into a MacBook. The setup and connection is simple, quick and easy. It also provides great protection for the iPad. This could very well be better than Apple's versions. Would have given five stars, however the rubber grips can be better and the price is extremely high.

    Must have for iPad users

Brydge makes fantastic products this keyboard is no exception. The tactile feel of the keys combined with the backlighting of the keyboard make this keyboard a must have for your iPad Pro. The trackpad works flawless for your slightly above average user and the premium feel completely justifies the price. The improvement I would say needs to be made is the attachment method they use and you have to wedge the iPad between two arms and makes you feel like something will eventually break.

A few of the function keys are not working and the touch pad is jerky. Other than that I like it. Probably more of a $99 Item to get a 5 star rating instead of the $230. Nothing else on the market turns your ipad into a solid note book type feel like this one does. So it's still cheaper and less to carry around than carrying a notebook with your ipad. I did cancel my Best Buy credit card after my last Refrigerator purchase but that's a whole another can of worms. Love the Best Buy stores and can't be beat when you get the honest sales rep with integrity. Unfortunately that does not always happen:) I do see a class action loss suite against their credit card if they keep charging inflated interest charges to folks that pay off there card each month. But that's there problem not mine anymore, I no longer have the card:)

Great keyboard and trackpad for my iPad. Use it all the time. Works with blue tooth. The only downfall for me is charging, has a different charger then the iPad, would be better if they were both the same

Great product however squeezes the display a little to tight for my tastes. The keyboard and track pad work flawlessly would have given it a 5 if it mounted using magnetic back like the Magic Keyboard vs clips that slid over your display.
