This movie is great. One of the best baseball comedies of all time. Kevin Costner is the best.

I have probably seen Bull Durham at least 30 times since the movie was first released (VHS, then DVD, now Blu-Ray DVD), and even now, it's as funny and uplifting as ever. IMHO, you do NOT have to be a baseball fan to appreciate this movie, but it certainly helps--especially if you're familiar with Minor-League professional baseball. As a youngster, I remember seeing Max Patkin, the Clown Prince of Baseball, perform in person at more than one minor-league game in our city (Reading, PA, now known as Baseballtown, USA). In those days, the clubs did whatever they could to get folks into the stands, and IMHO, Bull Durham is a pretty accurate representation of those times. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Kevin Costner and Tim Robbins get a lot of screen time, either :-) . Sassy, smart, funny, enduring--take a seat and join The Church of Baseball!

This is most definitely one of my favorite films ever made. The script, the acting, the direction… everything about this film is phenomenal. Would highly recommend to cinema and baseball fans alike!

One of Kevin Costner's best roles playing as he portrays the ball player, Crash Davis who's been around the block and just trying to make it back to the Bigs. Take note of the real chemistry between Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins as this being when they first met and fell in love which would last for 20 years.

I am a little biased but I just love baseball films. This film has so many memorable performances and quotes. Great cast and Robert Wuhl is the show stealer among all the heavyweights in this film. Video Quality = Good Audio Quality = Good Extras = Average I am glad to have this film.

This is a older movie that I originally saw in a movie theater and was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife, who has not seen it, can watch it anytime we want.

Very good movie about learning how to play the game of baseball and the game of life. Great cast, director and script. Good picture and sound quality, Blu-ray in 1:85:1 format. Would like to have seen more bonus features added.

The two 'fight' scenes left me wanting. The aura of 'the Show' was annoying at first. But then it turned into this idea, some magical, far off place that few reach and even fewer succeed. Some good one liners, too.

If you are a baseball fan, you will love this movie. It captures the hijinks of minor league baseball.....small towns, bus trips, and cleat chasers!....I compare it to being the "Slapshot" of baseball movies!

The characters are lovable and believable. The cast had great chemistry. Kevin Costner always does a great job when it comes to sports movies, and Tim Robbins is greatness as well.

This movie always makes me laugh. All of the characters are well developed and complement each other to good effect. It captures the essence of minor league baseball.

Classic springtime baseball movie. This film, The a Natural, and Field of Dreams are the baseball classics we look forward to watching at the start of each season.

While movie is more than 20 years from release on the big screen, it is still one of the better baseball themed movies made. Great story line, romance, and humor.

Everytime this was on tv, I have to watch it. Better yet, I went ahead and bought the video, now I can watch it anytime. It never gets old. Great cast!

A young Kevin Costner, Durham, NC, love scenes, good and bad baseball, humor, good plot, great acting, humor and Kevin Costner looking good, sexy and funny.

Kevin Costner and cast are great - he is the minor leagues all time HR leader playing nursemaid to the latest rocket armed rookie, Nuke Laloosh.

Who doesn't love to lollygag when watching this? I could spend endless Saturdays watching this. One of the most quotable movies ever.
