Good anti virus

This anti virus package is very good for the price and you are pretty protected with everything but a VPN and identity theft protection. That being said I like it and since I have a VPN anyways it’s a moot point for me. I am knocking it one star mostly because I find the interface to be a bit old and could use a better UI but otherwise it works as intended.

I expected this to be like almost every other similar product I have tried but I was pleasantly surprised by how well this one appears to work. Easy to install (didn't have to take separate time to remove old software as it detected it and uninstalled it for you without having to exit out). The interface is simple to understand and makes seeing everything easy. This is definitely an option I might renew after the year is done.

Internet security apps are kind of like vaccines, you don’t really know how well it works if it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. But, in terms of ease of use, BullGuard works well. It was easy to install and has a simple and easy to use interface. BullGuard provides real time antivirus protection and has options for quick scans or full scans of your pc along with Firewall protection. You can quickly scan any files you download from the internet. It also includes a separate BullGuard secure browser and access to BullGuard’s vpn. If you need to set up parental controls, it has customizable profiles for different users. BullGuard also has a Game Optimizer to improve game performance via things like reducing background apps and file cleanup. The feature that I like most is the Vulnerabilities monitor that checks your network, checks for Windows security updates, and checks for driver updates. BullGuard can be used on up to 3 devices, including PC, Mac, and Android. Overall, BullGuard Internet Security has been easy to use and comes with some very useful features.

I’ve tried several different anti-virus softwares over the years and all seem to lack the total package of what I’m looking for in terms of ease of installation, ease of use and cost. So far the Bullguard suite seems to fit the bill. I’ve never really heard of this brand before but as of installation, I have not had any issues.
The one thing that most of these anti-virus solutions causes is a slowing down of the system. It’s not beneficial to have a lot of Ram, SSD drives and all of that when your software slows it all down. I’ve had this installed for about a week now and I have not noticed any loss of speed. So far, so good.

Great Lightweight Software

When I say lightweight, I don't mean to insinuate lower quality, I mean operates with limited system capacity.
Install is simple, scanning is quick and works effortlessly in the background.
For good value security, this is a solid choice.

Easy installation and solid integration without conflicts with existing software. The rule exceptions pop up as you open the program to integrate the new security software and then after that no more pop ups.
Solid Software!

Runs well on M1 Mac and doesn't appear to consume much in terms of resources, or interrupt gaming, calls, etc. I enjoy that I don't even notice it working in the background of everything I do in the day.

Easy to install
Tells me if there is a security update for windows and prompts to install. Monitors my laptop and still allows my laptop to run full speed. Easy setup and very fast.

I was hopeful when I installed this software that it would prove to be less clunky than some of the other av software available. I use a Mac and had a lot of trouble getting this to install properly. It did not seem to slow down my system which is a good thing. This program does not do as much as some of the other software on the market does. It does run virus scans. It does not keep you from visiting "unsafe" websites. It also does not have the ability to "block" certain websites to help protect my family from going places that they do not need to. The reason for the 2 stars is that the program is very basic. Provides no more protection than the free av softwares that are out there and the company will bombard your inbox with ads to get you to "upgrade" or sign up for other services.

So I had just received a brand new ASUS ROG gaming laptop and the BullGuard Antivirus software had came along for me to test and review. This internet security software was good to be installed on for 3 separate devices for a 1 year subscription.
I downloaded the software via BullGuard's website and installed the software with no issues. Once installed I launched the program and was greeted with the following options:
Antivirus
Firewall
Vulnerabilities
Backup
PC Tune Up & Game Booster
Parental Control
Secure Browser
Identity Protection (an Upgradable feature)
Home Network Scanner (an Upgradable feature)
BullGuard VPN (an Upgradable feature)
I started off with doing a Quick Scan under the antivirus box and voila now issues were found, to which I was glad seeing as how this was a brand new gaming laptop.
Over the next 2 days, my laptop felt solid and protected from anything the internet could throw at me. On the 3rd day, I booted up my laptop and went about my usual business, then out of nowhere, about 3 minutes after booting up, my screen went blank. Not sure what was going on, I moved my cursor thinking I had clicked on something, however, my cursor was the only thing I could see on the screen. So I restarted my laptop and waited; and like clockwork it happened again. Screen goes black and my cursor was the only thing on the screen that I was able to move around. After a 3rd reboot, and getting the same response, I decided that it had to be the new BullGuard Internet Security software I had just installed a few days ago. On the 4th reboot, I had to quickly turn off the BullGuard startup program in the bottom right of the taskbar and uninstalled the program.
I really wanted to like this program, however, it was just not wanting to work with my laptop after 2 days.
