Great for low voltage/data

If you're running power cords, you would not use this. It does make it look professional and it's easy to install. My recommendation is to visit a hardware store and pick up an "old work" 1-gang blue box for $1 and use along with this. You can skip the last step but it really will make the installation better.

I have one speaker cable and two subwoofer cables going through the wall plate without any issues.
