Hey kiddies, find out what comedy actually looks and sounds like. Check out Caddyshack, a film about the haves and have nots that has just as much intelligent humor as it does potty humor. Some nice, naked women and some of the funniest actors ever put together for one movie. This is one of the rare ones that has earned the title "classic".

You'd think putting an old movie on blu ray would show all the flaws, but to the contrary, the transfer to digital is excellent. This must have been a transfer from the original film print, and the audio mastering is excellent as well. So let's see... funny... great video... great audio... what more do you need????

If you're looking at this, I won't go into the plot, as I'm sure you're a long time fan of the movie anyway. If you haven't seen it, google a review of it, I'm sure there's thousands of opinions to choose from. Overall a very good transfer to HD format. Not perfect, but that may have more to do with the source material. Got in the value bin at my local BB, and very satisfied with it for the price.

Caddyshack is a true classic film. Even after 30 years I laugh out loud at both the subtle and not at all subtle humor and social satire. I guess that the 30th Anniversary Edition makes it a real collector's item, right?

This is a great remaster of a long time classic; I previously owned the DVD version, and the new blu-ray remaster breathes new life into both the audio and video quality! I only wish the second movie, while somewhat corny, was also released on blu ray as well.

I was already a fan of "Caddyshack" before I purchased the DVD. I purchased the DVD at Best Buy (North Hills, Pittsburgh, PA) for a "must buy" price. Also, if you've not seen the movie..."See it". If you have seen the movie, then you know it's one of those movies you can watch over and over again and still laugh out loud. Rodney Dangerfield? Need I say more?

And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

I can't count how many times I've watched Caddyshack, and I do have many of the movie lines memorized, but I have never owned a copy of the movie. I always seem to catch it on cable. On a whim, I purchased this as a Deal of The Day. Couldn't go wrong for $5.00. Picture quality is great. And now I can watch the uncut version every time. Thank you very little.

Probably my favorite sports movie of all-time, although the sports in here is just for background. The cast is amazing as this is one of the funniest and funnest movies you will ever watch. This is also a great movie to buy as you can watch this over and over. Making its way to Blu-ray has it looking as good as it did in the theater, enjoy!

Excellent movie from the mind of Harold Ramis who was involved with all the top comedies for about a 10 year stretch or longer as either a writer, director, or actor. All his great movies included either Chevy Chase or Bill Murray. Also check out "Animal House," "Stripes,' "National Lampoon's Vacation," "Meatballs,"and the "Ghostbuster" movies.

Love this movie it was always on the tv growing up as a kid and was great how one little animal could stir up so much trouble. I love the actors in the movie as well big comics when they were younger. All in all it is a comic staple in movie history.

It was long past time that I replace my previous copy of this movie, as I had it only on VHS, and the fact that it was the Anniversary Edition only made the upgrade sweeter. If you still haven't seen this movie, you've no doubt heard friends or family quoting it, so it's about time you find out what the fuss is all about...

Caddyshack has to be the definition of comedy. It's pure genius in the form of laughter. The reason why it's genius is because you take some of the funniest comedians/actors of our time and somehow manage to add them to golf. Believe me. There's nothing funny about golf, but Caddyshack provides laughs for many years to come.

Fantastic movie, awesome cast, timeless comedy. This is one of those movies you can watch over and over . . . and now that it's on blu-ray you can enjoy it with even clearer visuals as well as better sound,

What can be said about this film that hasn't already been said! It's simply a classic that keeps getting better with age! The remastered anniversary edition Blu-ray is crisp and clean, just like it was back in the theater! If you're looking to upgrade your collection this is the disc to get!

In a lot of ways, this movie made Bill Murray a star. He was already well known from Saturday Night Live, but Caddyshack elevated his career to a new level. It has a ridiculous plot as the entire movie revolves around a country club golf course, but Murray adds the degenerative aspect which is in stark contrast to the rest of the cast. It needs to be seen to be fully appreciated and I suspect most readers of this review have already seen it more than a few times. Still it is a classic from its era.

One of the best all-time classics. Especially if you are a golfer. Bill Murry and Rodney Dangerfield rule in this mover.

This is a classic 80s comedy with Chevy chase, bill Murray and Rodney danger field. Also has ted knight. The plot is a little light, but the comedy is great. Sight gags, word games and Saturday night comedians. It's fun to watch or use as background for parties.... Everyone will love it.

Rodney Dangerfield steals the show in this all-time comedy classic. Ted Knight, Bill Murray and Chevy Chase all deliver performances that individually were brilliant. Collectively it adds up to one of the greatest comedies of all-time.
