The refrigerator is gorgeous and cools well. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is a little noisy when emptying ice and fingerprints/smudges are easily seen.

Overall a very nice refrigerator. The water through the door is not very cold compared to our prior GE refrigerator. The WIFI connection and App are not user friendly. Plus they do not appear to be up-to-date. For example, you are supposed to be able to add photos onto the door screen via the app, but the app provides no way to do so. Storage space is great and very well organized, especially the deep door shelves on the right side.

Best refrigerator I’ve owned. It’s spacious throughout. The small shelves are perfect for salad dressing, condiments, small cartons of milk, and the occasional water bottle. It’s well lit. And also Very easy to clean. The features and app are my favorite. The precise fill is also neat. The hot water is fantastic. My only criticism is that if you want a large cup of tea, you have to heat twice since the reservoir has limited capacity.

When we realized that our new home could not really accommodate a 26-28 cubic foot fridge we started looking at counter depth options. After reviewing Samsung, LG, Frigidaire and GE options we settled on GE cafe with hot water option given great reviews and overall quality build. Overall we have been pleased with our choice, the unit is fairly quite, creates and holds a good amount of ice to support a family of 6 home 24X7 and the number of shelves and layout maximizes space which with 22cu is a must. The water dispenser works great , we like the ounce read out it provides as well. The hot water dispenser takes 60-90 seconds to heat form1 cup of tea. I would recommend this unit for families of 6 or less that don’t like to hord a ton of frozen goods and are light leftover holders as the loss of 4-8 cubic foot rom std. fridge is noticeable. You could also overcome the issue with extra freezer and beverage fridge as well.

I'm not used to a counter depth fridge yet, but I'm starting to appreciate that you can actually FIND things in it. This is a very nice looking refrigerator and the freezer is roomy. The freezer also has a little compartment on the inside of the door which is very handy for that little weird stuff like ginger root and parmesan cheese rinds. The fridge itself seems roomy enough and the shelves adjust easily, as well as having a shelf that you can 'halve' by sliding half of it up and back to create a space for taller items. We're happy with it. I would give it 5 stars but we've only had it a month and I'm still tweaking shelves.

Love this refrigerator! Love the hot/cold water, and plenty of room for all my food!

I marked this magnificent machine down to 4 stars for two reasons. (1) the ice maker never manages to dump ice all the way down into the bucket. It just kind of clumps up in the top of the maker and struggles to drop (even brand new). And (2) I wish I had never purchased a counter-depth fridge. Just don't do it unless you absolutely have to. Hot water on the door is amazing, though it takes longer than the microwave to heat up. But who knew they needed hot water on the fridge door? Not me, but I did!

Very roomy and spacious. I’m loving the water and ice dispenser. Seems very well made but my only warning is that you need to physically make sure you close the French doors. Our old fridge would close on its own, so you could kind of let it go and it would shut itself. This one requires you to follow through and physically push the door closed. Not a big deal for me, but had to warn the hubby to make sure the door closes and doesn’t just hang open. Otherwise, it holds a lot of food and the shelves are laid out in a sensible manner. We are happy with our purchase, especially since we were able to get on special during Labor Day.

This fridge is pretty, THATS IT! I really dislike this fridge and wish I would have picked something else. First off it’s small! I have 2 fridges which is great for me but not every one has room for a second fridge and if you have more than 2 people in your family you will need a more efficient fridge than this. This is stainless steel NOT smudge proof so finger prints everywhere, the doors are NOT self closing, the hot water feature only allows you 10 ounces at a time which is a small coffee cup and it takes FOREVER to heat up, you have to open both doors to to get to the deli drawer and the rubber seal doesn’t stay on mine at least, we have to keep putting it back in the grooves. I really dislike the person who designed this fridge because I don’t think they put any thought into people with kids. If you have young kids don’t buy this fridge buy another... or you will have finger prints everywhere and fridge doors left open and no where to store all their snacks and juices and everything else kids require!

I am happy with the purchase... it works well and is quite. I like the look and love the accessibility of a counter depth model... The insides are made a little cheaper than refrigerators of the past.. but I think that is probably true with most products.

Delighted with this purchase. The fridge fits perfectly in the space. It has decent storage space, even though it is a counter-depth model. The hot water feature is great. And, It matches my oven.

This is a nice looking fridge, and in the short time we've had it, we are impressed with the capacity to hold a large amount of food. The quality of the shelving seems solid. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that (1) the doors are not aligned at the top and (2) we had issues with the installation. When ordering the fridge online, the only question regarding installation is whether the purchaser has an existing water line, and since there are only two options for installation - free or $134 - it seemed logical that the installation would be free if you had an existing water line (I did). But when the team came to install my fridge, I was asked whether I purchased the water line kit, and was told that without my purchasing the kit, the installation could not be completed. I had to schedule a second appointment after purchasing a water line to connect the existing line in my house to the fridge, but the second team that came did not have a coupling on the truck to fit the house line to the new water line I purchased (Best Buy should require that its teams have a supply of water lines and couplings so that installations can be done in one day. I finally hired a private plumber to complete the installation, rather than wait for a third installation date.

This is a beautiful fridge, and when items were scarce bc of covid creating manufacturing shortages, it was one of the only ones available that matched our other appliances. However, the space inside isn't great and I don't like that the water doesn't chill as it dispenses.

The GE Cafe refrigerator has a beautiful design and operates quietly and efficiently. We especially love the hot water dispenser built into the front door panel.

This refrigerator is pretty neat. We use the hot water dispenser for tea, hot chocolate, and to add warm water to the dog food. The space inside is a bit small so we do put a lot of the overflow into an outside refrigerator. Lately, the system seems to be rebooting and when it does that, you can't use the water dispenser until it is back online. Oh, also the water filters are a little pricey. So, the fridge looks nice and meets our needs but if I were to do it again, I might look at other options.

Excellent Refrg, the stainless is much improved over previous models. easy clean with soap and water, no messy wipes, the hot water feature is great. The wifi setup is very helpful as you can activate the hot water to heat up and select the temp you want, so you do not have to even go to the refrig until it alerts you it is ready. The internal lighting is great. The shelves on the doors appear to be stronger and more durable than previous models. Ice makes makes ice quickly, because it is counter depth is does not hold a lot, but fine for two people. We use the garage frig for ice for larger gatherings.

Stylish. Everything works well. Good size. Fits the pre- designed kitchen well. Only had it 3weeks so cannot comment on its reliability.

Only used for one month. Like the features, however have not taken advantage of dispensing the hot water yet. Filters appear to be expensive, however overall satisfied with purchase. Did not have initial great feelings because the water line was not connected properly.

When the wife and I bought this product, we did not know it was counter depth until it was delivered and installed. Shame on us for not paying attention. Turns out, our new kitchen can only handle a counter depth fridge so we ended up getting lucky. This is not the first Cafe product we have owned. They are not cheap but we love this unit and quickly adapted to having a little less space. The two things I don't love (but are not deal breakers) #1 - ice machine cannot keep up with my 8 and 12 YO. By the end of the day there is not much ice left. #2 - the freezer is not huge but we knew that when we made the purchase. I would buy again.
