My only complaints are 1) the finish just inside the doors tends to collect dust/smudges rather quickly and 2) the ice maker drips water very slowly and sometimes ejects a piece of ice when the fridge is closed quickly.

Love this high end Cafe French Door Refrigerator. Recommend downloading the app to ensure that it is running efficiently. The app will notify if there needs to be service done or change the water filter. Plenty of storage space for your food!

Overall Decent Fridge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the refrigerator hooked up on June 23, 2022. Overall, a nice refrigerator. A few annoying things ... 1) The door does not close smoothly. 2) The right-side door "lip", touches the left side door when closing and makes a "brushing" sound. 3) The freezer drawers do not open cleanly and make noise. This is perhaps because of the packing tape, which I find it impossible to remove. I wish it was removed by the techs who installed the fridge. 4) Perhaps this is common thing, but the fridge compressor does make some noise during the day (just like my old GE fridge did). I would have thought that technology may have improved (in "sound" management") after 15 years.

This feature should allow you to fill any size container. The sensors will sense when to stop filling the water. It’s extremely well organized and well lit so everything is at your fingertips. Besides that the glass on the front is really special…. And doesn’t show fingerprints like regular stainless.

There's even more space inside than we thought. The outside is easy to clean and beautiful same for the interior. The set up was surprisingly simple and the functional features are very clean and modern. If you're willing to spend a couple K we'd recommend it.

The water and ice dispenser works well. The middle drawer however does not control temperature very accurately and has frozen our drinks on several occasions. Worse is the way the interior is designed. Within several weeks of owning the fridge, we broke the dairy bin door because it made contact with the inside of the fridge when we closed the door. Pretty expensive to replace. Nice appliance but I'm not sure it's worth the price. Not bad, but not great.

We know these issues must have been inconvenient. We can advise that a build up of ice may indicate the door is not sealing properly, has been left open too long or is opened and closed too frequently. If the issue is with the seal, you can check the gasket to make sure the entire perimeter of the door is properly sealed with no gaps; the gasket can be adjusted if needed. We do also hate to hear you've had an issue with incorrect alerts in the app, and can recommend calling the Connected Home Support Line at 1-800-220-6899, Monday -Friday 9am - 11pm ET, Saturday - Sunday 9am - 3pm ET, or emailing [email protected]. I will order GE Modern Glass Dishwasher next month to match with this refrigerator.
