Steamer issues

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this machine replaced already for the steamer failing to foam properly, and the same problem is back again after just 2 months. I agree with the other great reviews when the machine works but after 2 months the steams magically stops producing a good foam for the latte. I've tried everything including descaling, running hot water through the steamer, etc, but nothing seems to return the steam wand to its original form. Make sure you purchase a warrantee with this thing if you choose to buy

Very easy to use but also bought the semi automatic version and that one had a better brew system. If you are looking for an easy to use expression machine this is it.

I went ahead and got this machine due to the great reviews, and to slow down on the hefty starbucks tab I was paying every month. 1. The appearance is phenomenal. 2. I am sad to discover no matter how I adjust the grind time/grind size I am getting watery like espresso, by the time I make my latte all I can taste is milk. 3. I buy starbucks espresso beans (youd think it would taste similar to starbucks) 4. The return of this machine is a HASSEL! I reached out to GE to discuss return/refund and it has to be brought back to bestbuy, which ive already threw the box away, so bestbuy said it couldnt be returned. WHAT THE HECK! For a $550 purchase im super sad! - Wish I would of gone with the philips machine

Trouble with the grinder

On this second day it has already told me to 'ADD/STIR COFFEE BEANS". I did, thinking no big deal BUT it would never clear that message. I made sure I was using the correct bean (a medium roast) and had a enough beans in the hopper. I used the trouble shoot guide and STILL have the error message. What good is this if you cant clear the message to brew the drink??? Very frustrating. Most likely going to return this and go back to my other De' Longhi brewer which seems to be at this point, the better brewer.

While we’re glad you like the look of our espresso machine, we hate to hear you’re having with an issue with an error message and aren’t able to clear it. That isn’t the performance we would expect, and we regret any inconvenience caused. The Add/Stir Coffee Beans message is meant to clear after the beans are refilled and you restart a new brew. More information about this message is available on page 11 of the manual. If you haven't yet used the troubleshooting in the manual specifically, that section does also discuss what to try for this message on page 19 – one of the provided tips is that cleaning the coffee grinder shoot may help. Resetting the unit by disconnecting it from power for a couple minutes before reconnecting may also help. If you need to view the manual online, you can do so on our Café Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. The manual does have information on the limited warranty on page 22 as well, if you aren’t able to resolve this and need to take advantage of that warranty.
