Ive had this chair maybe 6 mo. I weigh around 200 lbs. It totally just collapsed on top of me while on zoom at my desk. Every book on my top shelf fell on me. Keep in mind im a nursing student so these books are thick and heavy. These books fell down about 4-5 feet. Somehow im okay even though i fell back and hit my head. My cat might be injured, i hope not, but hes hiding from me & theres a little blood on my bed that was never there before. The books and the attached picture aren’t even a quarter of the books the rest are on my bed.

I am 200 lbs and I leaned back in this chair a few times (very casual stretching during long virtual meetings) and it just straight up snapped. Did not even own it for 6 months.
