Pretty decent heat and massage. Thought it wouldn’t even be worth it but turns out it works pretty well for what’s needed in my opinion

This sounded like a great idea because of its long, thin design, which is perfect to wrap around a sore hamstring, but neither the heat nor the vibration are strong enough to yield any real results.

Great option for recovery of joints with heat

I just love this little electrical heated wrap! It is super soft and cozy, easy to use and can heart and massage at the same time. At my age, after some running is not surprising needed some heat in the joints to reduce some pain. Up to now, I used a electrical blanket that was covering the entire zone or was falling when I move. With this Flexi wrap, you can fix it to almost any joint of your body and will remain placed thanks to its self-fastener-velcro material. With three levels of heat and three levels of intensity of vibration, the nine combinations are perfect to serve any family member's preferences.
The electrical power goes directly connected into the Wrap, but with a long enough wire, the movements are still possible. I see the advantage of the auto-off function for the vibration after 15 minutes to avoid a significant impact in your join. The auto-off for heat will shut it off after two hours.
A great price. Once Small size fits perfectly in my sports bag and is a great option to travel.

In the box is the wrap, the power cord and the instruction manual.
First impression, I thought that it would be a little bigger but the size does not matter in this case because this wrap does great things! I appreciate the design because no matter what area, the wrap is able to massage and heat on the joints and limbs. I have problems with my back, neck, knees and forearms and in the winter I have pain as well and I will definitely keep this product near me at all times and the best part is it folds up nicely to fit at the office, my home office, bedroom and thin enough to travel with as well.
Massage - I love the red, blue and green lights to let me know which setting I want to chose. When you put on the wrap, you can definitely tell which setting is which with the vibrations but its good to set it with the colors as well. The massaging is subtle, so not as strong as a handheld but strong enough to work out a few kinks if needed. I have lower back issues and I was able to wrap around my lower back and it definitely helped. (The velcro is double sided and really strong because although I don’t have a tiny waist, I was still able to wrap it around me and it held together the whole time until I took it off.) I will be using this most with my forearms. I type a lot for work and home and this will be great to massage my wrists and forearms at the end of my day or when needed. I also like this for after a workout to massage my limbs. Also, keep in mind that the massage is in 15 minute increments, which is good because I move on to another spot and come back if I need too. So far, I haven’t needed to go back to other areas with the high mode.
Heat - This is my favorite part of the wrap because not only will I get a massage, I can add heat as well. Right now I am using loosely around my neck because I slept the wrong way last night. So far, the massage has stopped and now I am using for the heat which feels so good right now. The heat setting is really good, warm/hot enough to use directly on skin. I did use on top of my shirt and it took a minute or so for the heat to get through the fabric but it still worked great.
The power cord is a decent length and it will stretch really far. At my work desk in the office, my plugs are on the floor in the corner and I won’t have any problem using without an extension cord.
I have been using for about a week now and I tend to use the heat setting more than the massage but I am glad that I have both options. My winter is going to be so much better now because I can target the areas that I need and not have to wear a whole blanket, instead just where I need it. I am definitely going to be buying more of these because my husband constantly has neck issues, it will be good for him to have his own and not use mine and this would be great for him to try to work out the kink and add some heat to it.
Overall, this is a great product and I can’t wait to own more in case I want to use on both arms or both knees at the same time. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family!

I like it

It's a heating pad that vibrates. But the advantage it has over a heating pad is that it can be wrapped around the affected area and you can move about, with the only constraint being the length of the electrical cord. Wrap it and forget it...and enjoy soothing heat and vibration. It has three settings for both the heat and vibration, so it's easy to find the sweet spot. I have tendonitis in my elbow I've found the Calming Heat Flexi Wrap to be very effective in helping to control the pain.
My only complaint is that I wish it got warmer. With our society being so litigious, I'm sure they have to be careful with how hot it gets, but for me I think higher heat would be more effective.

Calming Heat - Flexi Wrap – Grey
Sore joints and neck get a good pinpoint treatment.
This is a good alternative to the classic “heating pad” as it lets you get a focus on the particular joint or muscle that needs heat and vibration therapy.
Wraps nicely around a wrist, knee, shoulder, elbow, and oh yes it is great for the stiff neck at the end of the day when sitting in front of a computer screen for several hours. I found that trying a few different wrapping methods for the particular area I wanted to focus on helped me get the best results with good coverage.
A couple of things to check when you are wrapping an area are to be sure the heat and vibration control buttons are where you can get to them (not under the wrap) and that you have a good snug contact with the area if you want to use the vibrating mode. For your limb wraps, it seems to work best if you “coil” the wrap without crossing over so the wrap is in contact with your skin for the entire length of the wrap. I found that taking a little extra time to try several different wrap patterns helped me find the best pattern for the particular part of the body I was pinpointing.
The vibration is a little “soft” but this isn’t really supposed to be a massage unit, so the vibration is nice to help with circulation and combined with the heat I felt like it helped to “loosen up” a sore joint.
A good feature is having a long cord so I can move around a little in the chair or on the sofa without having to worry about pulling the cord out – lots of slack. The weighted design and Velcro of the wrap helps it to stay in place and to me provides a better contact to get the heat and vibration to the specific area being treated.
Overall this is a very nice step up from the “pad” approach to heat treatment, and the added feature of the vibration (soft massage) seems to provide greater relief. If you are a “sore neck” person, this would be a particularly good device to have on hand to help you settle down after a day at the digital office.

This heating pad is perfect for me! I have neck, back, and knee problems. This vibrating heating pad can cover all of these areas! I love the vibration when I use it on my neck. It has 3 heat settings and massage vibrations. My husband loves to use the massaging heat on his arthritic knees. Highly recommend.

I unfortunately have a lot of bad joints, so I was excited to get the Sharper Image Flexi Wrap.
There are three levels each for the heating and vibration functions. You have to hold each button for a few seconds to activate each. You can independently control each one. The vibrations shut off by themselves after about 15 minutes while the heating stays on for a couple hours. I never used it for that long.
I think the Sharper Image Flexi Wrap works best with small joints. For my shoulder, elbows, wrists, knees, and ankles, the wrap worked great. For these small joints, you can (and should) wrap around the joint multiple times. This allows for a good amount of heat and vibration. The vibration is really not that significant. I wouldn't say its a massage but for the small joints, I think it was pleasant enough. The wrap is long enough that it will wrap around the waist for people but the vibration is just too weak for it to be meaningful for back and abdominal pain. I also tried using it for my neck. They do have a dedicated neck wrap which I have not tried, but the flexi wrap is not too helpful for the neck. The vibrations are not a massage like mentioned previously and it does not work too well for this specific place. I would say that if you want just heat on the neck, then it is a decent option.
It is not battery powered and you do need an electrical outlet within reach. The cord is 9 feet which does allow for some mobility but honestly, you probably should just sit down and relax.
All in all, I was pleased with the Flexi Wrap. It definitely provided relief to my old joints. Just don't expect it to like a heated massage.

Heats up and vibrates, but not very well

I've been using this wrap for a little over a week now to try to target aches and pains in my legs and wrist. I don't love it, so I'll start this off with a quick pro/con if you want to skip a long complaint.
Pros:
• Can be applied onto any part of the body it can fit around
• Long cord allows you to plug it in up to 8-feet away
Cons:
• Velcro-style pads at both ends use stiff barbs, and wrapping the pad so they don't scratch your skin is difficult
• Pad takes a very long time to heat up, and never gets very hot
• Vibration is not enough to do anything to tight muscles and aching joints
• Wrap is uncomfortable when applied tightly enough to do anything with its heat and vibration
The Flexi Wrap is a soft 3-foot fabric pad about 4 inches wide, designed to be swaddled around your sore muscles and joints to target aches and pains. Velcro-style discs at each end of the pad are designed to grip onto the soft parts, allowing you to wrap the pad onto any part of your body it can fit around.
The pad is filled with pockets of ceramic beads, through which runs a heating element. Two vibration motors spaced about 12 inches apart provide the rumbling. There is an 8-foot long power cord with a "wall wart" power supply at the end coming out of one side of the pad.
The problems with this wrap are that it isn't effective at heating or vibrating, and wrapping it tightly around your sore muscles often causes discomfort. Furthermore, in order to get it wrapped without the velcro-style pads scratching your skin, you need to do a weird double twist and attach the pads to the soft parts of the wrap pad. In doing this, it is very difficult to get the wrap positioned just the way you want it.
All-in-all, I'd say this is more of a gimmick than an actual useful product. On the rare occasions where it's been hot enough and the vibrations have been strong enough to target aches and pains, it has been okay. The only thing I can recommend using it for is applying some light heat and vibration before giving yourself (or getting) a more targeted, manual massage.

If you've ever used a heated pad to relieve muscle tension, then you'll know how effective they can be. This is no different, except that the heat continues to radiate after the wrap turns off due to the inclusion of clay beads. The massaging feature works OK, but it's more of a background feature than a primary one. The length is good in that I was able to wrap it twice around my arm and my knee each time I used it. It's too early how the power cord tether will hold up over time, but it seems to be supported well inside the fabric. Personally, I would have liked something that plugged directly into the control unit, but that itself could lead to additional strain from movement. All in all, I consider this a good buy.

Have used to help alleviate the pains from shooter's elbow and the back pain as I've been getting back into basketball and have started to pick up a little bit of golf here and there. As the name states, it's solely calming so come in with tempered expectations and it'll benefit you well.
