Grill plate finish faulty

The grill plates have been maintained according to manufacturer specifications i.e. wash by hand after each use, use only non metal utensils when cooking, etc. For the price of the product this is unacceptable.

great cooking options but plug awkward

However it is a little inconvenient to plug in and out, as well as taking out the drainage tray from the back. This means that it does not really operate in a small counter space.

Whatever coating it has that is supposed to last longer scratches off in the box before using it. I can only imagine after a few uses how much of the non stick coating will peel or scratch off. That being said, it’s cooks well and doesn’t stick right now. The temperature dial is 50 degree increments, 250, 300, 350 etc. I will probably return it.

Great electric grill for just one

Especially convenient for only one in the household. No compromising. Calphalon always delivers superior products and this was at a unbelievable price I just had to get.

I try to grab Calphalon appliances on sale only.
