Was excited to go home and use this right away! Glad I made this purchase!

It is a good grill but no cooking instructions as to how long to grill anything.

This is my wife's "toy" and she really likes it. She made some toasted sandwiches that were restaurant quality.

This grill can grill anything.. it’s a all in one for sandwiches and assorted meat and vegetables

Not too happy with this one. Cannot remember exactly what it was with the temp settings but I believe it was that you could only set it so low. Very bulky. Go with the Ninja grill if you want something nice and durable.

I’ve had this unit for a few months mostly making panini and pancakes and it has worked well, certainly better than the Griddler that came before it which I returned. The ceramic plates truly are non-stick and easy to clean and I’ve had no problem with the finish flaking. Unlike the Griddler the plates heat evenly across the surface, the temperature doesn’t fluctuate too much over time, and the top and bottom plates are always at the same temperature. I’ve only done one round of truly high-heat cooking and it easily got hot enough to put a nice sear on a lamb steak. The biggest con for this unit is that there’s a spring which makes it awkward to rotate the top plate so it lies flat on, say, a panino. I have to grab a spatula and use it to pull down on the front of the top with one hand while using my other hand to lower the top onto the food. Once it’s on the food it stays flat. It’s not a hard trick to master but it’s odd that it’s necessary. My other nit is that the cord and the hinge release button are on the same side. When making pancakes I want to lay the two halves out flat so I rotate the grill until the cord is pointing toward the wall outlet. But that means the hinge release button is also pointing away from me. After I preheat I have to reach across the hot unit to use the button and open it flat. Clearly not a deal breaker but it’s an odd design choice. These minor inconveniences aside I’m happy with this grill for the low temperature (350 degree) cooking that I do on a weekly basis.

Incredibly cheaply made. I was hoping to replace my Cusinart, but not with this one.

Not great heat controls for griddle setup. Either too hot, or takes to long to cook a pancake and makes it rubbery. Would like a waffle setup available/ included.
