Here's a 2 month review from daily user... This coffee maker does make a great coffee relatively fast. However, the carafe is hard to clean because the lid has a lip that prevents complete liquid removal and it is also difficult to unscrew the top off so you have to carefully shake the excess water out to help it empty and dry. Unit has a stylish design that does attract positive comments, which seems odd for a coffee maker. The slightly oversized oval footprint is also unique, but works under our cabinets for out of use storage. To make coffee we pull the unit out to add water, filter and grinds. Comes with a few oversized (taller) cone filters to get you started. Recommend finding taller cone filters as standard cone filters can nearly overflow with grinds into the pot. Wait to buy this on Deal of the Day, which makes this a good value and earns the overall excellent rating.

Love this new coffee maker...simple and easy to use..I did order from the company a new carafe and a filter basket...just id case issue do arrive. Makes great coffee..easy to clean and wipe down. Glad I bought it on sale at Best Buy..it was a great deal!!

My last coffee maker was a run of the mill maker that never made the right strength of coffee. It was either watery or super strong. I am not a couple of weeks into using this machine and can confidently say that this produces consistently. When it comes down to it the quality of this maker lies in 2 areas consistency and the physical build of the device. As I mentioned earlier, the strength of the coffee is very predictable, which is a good thing. I followed the direction on the instructions and have yet to have a bad pot. Secondly, the design and build is outstanding. Its sturdy and very pretty on the eyes. It also has some neat features, such as timed brew and a button which makes "stronger" coffee. All in all, this consistent sturdy coffee maker is one that is sure to last and worth every penny!

Purchased two units as part of BB Deal of the Day. The first unit broke within six months. The unit keep shutting off after 30-45 seconds. Calphalon sent me a replacement free of charge. The new unit's plastic cone style filter basket broke within three months. I called Calphalon and the replacement filter basket is out of stock until mid-September. To add insult to injury there are no other brands or generic filter baskets the are compatible with the Calphalon Special Brew & Precision Control Coffee Maker. For a real coffee drinker the expectation to go 6 weeks without making coffee is ridiculous. Fortunately, I have a back up unit thanks to BB Deal of the Day. The unit is bulky and takes up a lot of counter space. However, it does brew a great cup of coffee.

Purchased this for Senior Citizen group at church. A coffee drinking group. Works amazingly good. Coffee taste is superb. Coffee brews fast. No complaints at all. I also got it for a deal out of this world. Thanks Bestbuy

Coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee. Had been using a BUNN for the last few years, and this coffee maker makes a hotter, better tasting cup! Also got it on sale at a great price!

While the coffee maker itself is pretty respectable the short power cord makes it all but useless for my desired need. Where hoping to match it with a Calphalon blender I find myself unable to place it in such a way both appliances would fit on the desired table and reach the wall outlet at the same time which is fairly close to begin with. Sorry Calphalon … While your cookware is top shelf … You fell short on this one.

Love this coffee maker works perfect and coffee taste great got this to replace a very old one and this has a lot more features.

I can see the water level as I am filling it from the faucet hose. I eliminate the clumsy step of using the carafe for measuring and filling the reservoir. Another convenience is that the compartment holding the filter swings open. Thus, the container holding the coffee grounds can be positioned under it to catch grounds while filling. The choice of brewing strong coffee is an option and is how I like my coffee. The brewing process does not take long.

After I ordered this coffee maker I realized it had a 10 cup capacity. I wasn't sure this was large enough for my usual morning coffee intake. I usually have 3-16oz. cups each morning. It easley managed that with nearly a cup left over. It makes a full pot in about 10 minutes and is very good coffee. I am well pleased with this purchase and it was truly $70 to $100 off any other price I could find on the internet.

A very nice coffee pot I bought for mothers day! Looks super nice but is a bit bulky. The strong brew button makes a nice cup of joe.

Well thought out , no chance of spilling coffee into water reservoir. Keeps coffee very hot . Easy to clean .
