I had been wanting an espresso machine for a few months and was overwhelmed with all the choices. After doing some research, I settled on the Calphalon Temp IQ Espresso Machine. This machine has met all my expectations! The machine is pretty straight forward and has all the tools in order to make a great espresso, steamer or specialty coffee drink. Having previous barista experience is helpful, especially to feel comfortable with the machine right away, however the manual is straight forward. I'm so happy with my purchase and even recommended this machine to someone yesterday. I love it and look forward to my daily coffee!

Purchased this for my girlfriend as a christmas gift and we couldnt be happier. The design is easy to use and so far, has produced very consistent espresso. My only minor complaint is that i wish the steamer wand was juuust a little stronger as i cannot make good microfoam but it could be user error. Im now a fulltime barista at home and have completely stopped going to starbucks. I would recommend this product to anyone who is just getting into the espresso game.

This is an amazing machine. I had never owned an espresso machine before this but it is amazingly easy to use and makes delicious espresso. It is also very easy to clean!!

I like this coffee machine. I searched a lot and tested multiple coffee machine before I select this last one. For anything under 400-300$ I recommend this machine. The only competitor to this model would be the Delonghi Delica. the Delica model makes cappuccino and latte way more easier but this machine gives you the ability to enjoy making foam with any quantity. I have to say this machine looks classic, nothing fancy. And if you are looking for something to feel like using a good old machine then there is the only choice you have with 400$ or less budget. The Espresso perhaps is the best compared to its other competitors and it has this tamper that you have to pay extra 20 $ to get. Cleaning the hot water dispenser is a bit hard since they used steel instead of plastic. I believe this choice make sense as you don't need to worry much about cleaning the inside of the dispenser. But still milk would stick to it and can't be clean easily. My only concern is the knob as you have to turn the knob to make an Espresso, foam, or get hot water. So far after about a month, it is still working fine. However the light above the knob goes off and when I touch the knob it goes on which was not problematic so far. I tried Mr.Coffee automatic cappuccino maker, Delonghi Delica, Cuisinart Nespresso, and two other Delonghi machines (one 150$ and the other one 290$) and this model definitely outperforms all of those.

This unit is very solid and seems well made. However I didn't find the steaming wand or the water to be hot enough. Maybe part of that is due to high altitude, but I returned it for that reason. It was easy to run and the sale price I found of just over $200, rather than over $300 seemed fair.

Best espresso machine I've purchased at BestBuy. This machine is commercial grade espresso! The coffee grinds holder is wider than standard retail espresso machines and allows for a more even water flow and creates a delicious smooth velvety espresso shot. By far the best espresso machine I've purchased at BestBuy. I was a big fan of the Delonghi machines, but I'm so in love with my Calphalon.

great espresso maker! super easy, great quality! my boyfriend and i use this literally almost every single day and theres no signs of wear and tear. We actually bought this online first and it came in with a faulty panel, so water would flow through the bottom and we actually went into a store and exchanged it in person and the new one we received was perfect!

This is a solid competitor for the Breville Barista Express (without the grinder of course). The frother is probably the best thing going for this machine. I read through reviews about it being "too powerful" and thats when i knew that if i wanted a travel espresso machine, this would be a good contender as all my drinks i make are milky ones. It really does go...i have learned its best not to start frothing until its slowed down, and made the pumping sound...then restarts...thats when i will get uninterrupted steam. The weight of this machine is very light, which makes it a good option for travel. The downside is that because it is so light, i have to hold onto the machine to get the portafilter out. The shots have been okay, comparable to the barista express. Its a volume controlled shot machine so its going to spit out 2 ounces regardless. One issue is that this portafilter basket doesnt hold the standard 18 grams for a double shot, its more like 16 (at least with my coffee). And when you try and get the shot out of the basket to rinse, sometimes the whole basket comes out. Overall if you make lattes and cappucinos, i think you'd be hard pressed to find something better in this price range...which is currently sitting at $250 on sale. I am not using the tamper or the milk jug with this machine as I have a premium one, but this worked pretty good for taking with us on vacation. This would be great for a beginner coffee friend, or maybe an older person who may not want all the bells and whistles with a machine, however i believe if you're starting a coffee journey you would grow out of this very very quickly. I think 5 stars should be saved for something truly spectacular, so this gets 3 stars cos i think it does a good job. Comparable to starbucks? yes. Comparable to a niche coffee shop...no.

I had originally bought another espresso machine at target and as soon as i opened it and started to use it, it was nonstop leakage water. I was very skeptical in buying another one but went ahead and bought this one which was more pricy. And omg!! I love it!! I make my own espresso drinks hot or cold. I am in love with it.

Easy to use, easy to clean, great cup of coffee, versatile.

I love this machine. I only give it 4 stars cause the frother is not that great and makes a lot of noise, it could do better. it does the job though. I have a great cup of coffee and parts are easy to wash

This espresso machine is very user friendly and I have saved so much money by making coffee at home. Initially, I had a Nespresso machine but the Nespresso pods were too expensive to keep up with. The Calphalon machine is nice because it does not require espresso pods.

Love this machine! We went through two K-Cafe Special Edition Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker with Milk Frother which were both unserviceable under Geek Squad Protection Plan. Found this on sale and couldn't be happier. My husband is a serious espresso conesuier. I love lattes. This machine makes a great smooth rich flavored cup. No burning, better than Starbucks or others. Neighbors stop by for my coffee. A couple have bought for personal and business use. Default cup size is small. You will want to read instructions on programing both small and big cup settings. We have programed for husband espresso and my latte which suits all my guests. Have had this now for over a year and not a day that doesn't start great. Motivates me to get up every morning.

My second espresso machine. Did upgrade to this one. Love all the features. Beginner or advanced, this is great for the home. Easy use and programming. Would recommend. Saves in the long run if you were buying them daily like me.

Purchased for my guy as a birthday present. He adores it. Uses it multiple times a day and showcases his skills for every guest. He says it makes fantastic espresso. We have a standalone grinder.

I have had numerous espresso machines during the years but this one comes with very high quality, so impressive so far! It’s a really powerful and heavy and the espresso is insane!
