Horribly Designed Lamp Stand

Shape is nice and is perfect for slipping underneath furniture and tight spaces, but the construction at the base is held together by a custom M10 that is a thin nut, but should be a thick nut so that it can stable. It’s not something you can fix either, by putting a serrated flange washer nut, because you won’t be able to tighten it since the opening is so small, it only fits their custom nut equipment. I feel cursed having bought this thing. That’s how frustrated I am with this.
