The rPi4 is notorious for running on the hot side. The best thing about this kit is that it features 3 heat sinks and a fan that easily attaches to the case. even the official rPi4 kit did not address this issue. Fantastic starter kit for anyone looking to get into arduino, programming, or even cyber security with the right OS. Assuming you have a spare key board, mouse, and HDMI compatible monitor/TV, This kit has everything you need to get started.

Raspberry Pi is cool. But I can't find a place that can free shipping the original $35 pi to me. So I end up buying this starter kit. The case is cool, but I probably don't need the fan, heat sinks, sd card reader (their qualities look fine tho). Generally ok for rookies, but if you already have those things (power cord, sd card, mini hdmi adapter etc..) just buy the pi at retailers.

Great value for a kit. It comes with the power cable with an integrated switch to power it off and on. Also comes with the HDMI switch, the case, some heat sinks, a micro SD card with software, and of course the Pi 4 2GB version. It does not come with the case fan and the Pi 4 runs hotter than the previous version. There are plenty of resources online for support.

Extremely impressed with the RPi4, and this kit from CanaKit. Currently using the RPi as a host for OctoPi for my 3D printer, but also tested as a VDI with Amazon’ AWS Workplaces for work, and as a streaming box. All use cases perform flawlessly and have not had any excessive heat situations thanks to the fan from CanaKit. Also ordered a POE hat that allows me to POE power the RPi with a single cable for power and Ethernet.

Comes with everything useful for those tinkering with Linux, retro-gaming box, or HTPC. The board is powerful, case is solid, and the included fan is quiet to not be noticeable. Only 1 qualm; got it in March 2020, and the RPi4 has a well-documented defect with the USB-C port; it's been fixed for months now, but this box must have been new-old-stock from BestBuy, so I got a flawed version with no way to be _sure_ to get a corrected one. It's a trivial issue and won't affect my use, but if the USB-C issue will pose a problem for you, please note the company (brand) will NOT exchange it for you (I tried). Not a BestBuy problem, however.

I was looking to use a Raspberry Pi for a home automation project. I initially went shopping on line with my list of parts and then came across the CanaKit Raspberry Pi Kit. Although the kit price is slightly more than the individual parts which may come from a number of suppliers it provides the benefit of including everything that you need in a single package. The kit includes the Pi, heat sinks, case, fan and power supply. Also included is a 32GB micro SD card preprogrammed with NOOBS but can be overwritten with your own project. Highly recommend the CanaKit which comes in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB RAM configurations.

Very easy to set up and a great learning tool. Bought this to build with my son for a minecraft computer. I'm actually amazed at what this little thing does.

Of course the PI 4 is much faster than 3, but also this case is much better as well. The instructions on where to put the heat sinks is very clear.

This guy's ready to work right out of the box, aside from the processor running a bit hot I love how it performs, be sure to get a little fan with it.

Good price for the kit. It would have been better if it had the fan. Also would have preferred the 4gb model but this one will work for my needs.

The item is a great and powerful microcomputer and is capable of quite a bit. The included power accessories and case are fantastic.

decent kit for first timers, would not recommend if you are not new to using Pi, as you can get everything sourced cheaper. The case is okay but for the Pi 4, it really, really needs a fan.

My son wanted a Raspberry Pi as his first server computer. I wanted him to get the extras to protect the motherboard from dust, etc. This set gave him just what he needed and once he found out how to update [random jargon this English major doesn't understand] it's been working great. We're both happy!

Works as described and has gotten me back into my Linux tinkering. Have this running as a media server and home DNS server with ad blocking.

Great set to get started with building your own coding environment. Use NOOBS OS or install any other Linux distro you want. Comes with case, power supply, power cable, USB adapter, and heat sinks. Optimal power for 2gig version. Highly recommend for any techie

I needed a way to quickly set up a content display system on multiple remote screens at an event. This kit is perfect for a rapid deployment with minimal overhead. The Pi 4 can handle almost any display task. Love the power supply with the integrated switch!

If you like to get into programming or do create a your own custom retro gaming setup up this is a great kit. Its nice that this kit does come with heat sinks and a cooling fan which is great if you want to overclock this kit. Overall great buy.

Best Buy is starting to carry raspberry pie products! The only gripe I have is I wish the company would carry the 4 GB version of this board. But for an all-in-one get started package very happy about the purchase I made.

Great kit, has everything needed to set up and was easy to do so. Currently being used to host a personal website. The case looks nice as well and keeps everything well packaged.
