I have purchased several Raspberry Pi systems in the past and most recently, I purchased a CanaKit Raspberry Pi Starter Pro Kit before purchasing this CanaKit Raspberry Pi Starter Kit. The price difference between the Starter Pro Kit and Starter Kit is about $10. For the $10, you get an upgrade from a 16 GB MicroSD to a 32 GB MicroSD, a MicroSD - USB card reader and a Power Switch Dongle. The case is also of a different construction. The Starter kit includes a three piece clear case vs a two piece black case that comes with the Starter Pro Kit. I didn't realize the difference in package contents above the 16 to 32 GB MicroSD card difference. Had I known, it probably would not have made a difference. I already own several card readers of different configurations. The Power Switch Dongle would be nice, but it's not necessary for any of my projects. As for the difference in memory cards, I have a stockpile of 32 GB cards to draw from so it was not a big deal for me. I'm still not sure what project this one will be used for. There are so many great projects to choose from. But so far, this Raspberry Pi 4 - 4GB is running as expected.

Very solid PC, especially for the form factor. Although, if you are wanting to do SAMBA, like me, I can only get Mac/iPhone/Android products to find the share, not Windows. I will find another use for this powerful product, but the main use wasn't accomplished. I recommend Firefox instead of Chromium, as Firefox seems to be more fluid when scrolling than with Chromium. Also, don't hold your breath with a Bluetooth keyboard. Bluetooth mouse works fine; however, I bought a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and it randomly repeats certain letters when typing. Which makes it difficult to log into the computer. All in all, Raspberry Pi and its respective OS is very simple to use, I might even try to get my grandparents one when their Windows 7 era PC goes out!

Power cord to short but totally usable. Easy to use and put together. Good value for money. Only complaint is case is snap together would have liked to see some screws and a fan but I nee that when I bought it. Raspberry Pi is fun and works as should. Recommend buying works great.

I honestly bought this for a retro gaming system. The case, hardware, and preloaded OS's made this CanaKit very easy to use. I absolutely recommend for anyone interested in getting started with Raspberry Pi.

I bought this to set up a Pi-hole through which I directed all the DNS lookups from my home router. The hardware and OS is perfect for applications like this. It’s really a surprisingly powerful device for the money and can tackle quite a lot.

I bought this to use as a digital streaming device, installed Ropiee, and have been incredibly content.

I own a few of these, and they are great. It's definitely an upgrade from the PI3. I use mine mostly as a retro gaming setup.

Comes with everything you need to get started on your Pi projects, except a mouse and keyboard but any USB mouse and keyboard will work. If you’re using it for emulators, N64 And PS1 ,which proved troublesome on other models, works flawlessly on this. If you’re using it as a desktop, stick with raspbian/raspberry OS. Ubuntu clones can be a bit sluggish, and some max out the CPU on boot up alone.

ultra portable, laptops pssh get outta here. this will replace a desktop pc pretty easily

Price seemed a little high compared to other online locations. But it was the only place available without the wait. Other then that it was a great purchase really recommend it. I have a 3b+ model and you can really tell the deference on the speed.

While not the cheapest, if you want it now it comes with just about everything you need to get going. If you are planing on making a emulator, a octoprint, or NAS this has the whole package. Granted you will need other parts to some of those things. But it is a fully functioning unit with An OS, and hardware to hook it up. My only issue is I wish it had the fan even if it was few more bucks as the Pi4 can get a little warm.

I originally get it to make a custom retro game console, that works great btw. But you can also use it as a desktop computer for easy task programs .great for kids as they can use it for coding or using alternatives OS .

Assembly was easy and installing the operating system was fairly straightforward point-and-click using a graphical interface. Haven't used it much yet but no complaints!

What can you say about the PI? These are such great little computers. Too bad the prices have almost doubled.

The Pi 4 has more RAM and faster CPU and I/O than the previous models. You can use this as a desktop computer, though it's a tad on the slow side for that.

I have two of these, mainly used for a player on a pixel light show. I use the second one for basic testing or general computer use.

I am using this to run a VPN server. So far it is functioning perfectly. I’ve had no problem with it. It’s very easy to setup and use.

Does not include a fan. I would definitely recommend getting one for it. Other than that everything you need to get started! Love it
