We used it for security. Good little camera. Easy to set up.

Bought this after a house break in. Easy to set up and very good view if your internet connection is strong. It lags at times, and the camera quality goes down a bit, but still strongly recommend this camera to others. Allows for others to have access to watch and be alerted, by invitation only. It's given us a peace of mind when we're away.

Videos are clear and zoom feature is great. Easy to install.

Like most people I suspect, I purchased this b/c I wanted a wi-fi camera that I could mount outside to keep tabs on things. I was initially impressed with the packaging and the device itself when I unboxed it. The camera has a nice texture to it and was heavier than I thought - which made me feel that it was a higher-quality device. The camera itself attaches to the mounting base with a very strong magnet. This allows the camera to point in a variety of directions and stay still. The problem came into play as soon as I tried to use it though. The app had to sync with the camera multiple times while setting it up just to get the video to stream through on my phone. This is even when I was about 10 feet from my eero router with a very strong wi-fi signal. As soon as I moved it outdoors, about 80 feet from the wi-fi router, the camera lost its connection. For context, my phone was showing full wi-fi strength, but the camera repeatedly dropped the connection. After resetting the device and pairing it about 5 or 6 times, I finally got it working. But then, the video was incredibly laggy. Maybe this is how all devices of this type are, so take that with a grain of salt. Regardless, if I moved the camera slightly to the left or right to frame the area to be monitored better, it would lose its connection again. I ultimately returned the Canary - Flex camera.

Buying the canary flex was a gamble. I have two ring cameras that work great. The Canary Flex frequently disconnects from my router even when it is just 3 feet away. I know the problem was not with my router because both of my Ring cameras were working through the Canary outage. Most frustrating was the fact that the Canary goes into offline mode randomly and says it has lost connectivity. This happened during a recent vacation and essentially made the entire point of my purchase worthless. There is nothing you can do to fix this unless you are at home. It does not have two way communication at this point. It also takes a long time to connect when watching it remotely, sometimes a minute or more. The Ring cameras usually connect in 10-15 seconds. I am going to try and return it.

This is one of the best cameras on the market. Picture quality and sound. Great camera.

Works well have had no problems with the security camera

It's alright but waking it up out of battery save mode is ugly, it doesn't record everything start to finish. It needs constant power to work adequately. A solar panel would be favorable, two way communication is nil.

Bought this camera to use as additional indoor security cameras and they work great!

When I’m at work about an hour away and I get an alert I can see when my wife goes in my office stealing my pens lol but seriously this thing has great quality great sensors and me living in an apartment now with ppl sometimes coming in when I’m not home helps me make sure my things are safe.

I purchased one and had problems ,took it back to store , store exchanged it no questions ask . Charged camera installed and this product as of so far is working great as it should . Impressed with how easy it was to set up. Would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a a good product.

The reason I bought this camera was because of its battery power. But, it seemed like it needed more charging just to stay on and I had to keep plugging it in. I decided to return it and go with another brand.

Great security camera No installation required - Open the box, connect to wifi and begin using it. You don't have to attach the cameras to the walls, you can move them around to wherever you desire. Instant alerts when it detects motion. Can set to private when home and to activate when away. Great night vision.

When it's connected and you pay a yearly fee which is only $100 a year (you do get 1 month free) it works pretty good my main problem it keeps losing internet connection to get notifications sent to your cell phone about any activity when you are not home this is where your yearly fee comes in

Perfect if you need to move to monitor different areas!

Everything about the canary system is pretty awesome The only problem is the price and that the flex doesn't have a secure way of keeping the camera from being swiped. We keep the flex outside and keep it at a pretty high place so people can't take the camera. Currently the flex uses a magnet to keep it on, but an alternative or more permanent solution would be great

Easy to set up, but can be slow to load unless perfect network connection.

Llike most, I was very displeased that Canary did a bait and switch as far as promised/purchased attributes,but since all the pushback they have made some amends. The biggest reason I purchased was that I had already purchased one a while ago and wanted to keep them all the same. It also helped that they were on sale. They are a bit pricey, but well built and sleek.

Camera is pretty good, night vision included. Subscription required for full features isn't too expensive

Overall, this appears to be a good product, clear video and very reliable
