Not user friendly

Most have the same features and more awhile being more user friendly and lag a lot less. Customer support was not responsive during my attempts to reach them, so that was not very encouraging for a long term keep.

Definitely bad choice

It hides away as a camera very well but a little to well. Because trying to connect the device you can’t even get it up and running in 5mins. Not to mention when you do it drops the WiFi signal ever now and again.

Very poor image

Then I bought another one in Ky. What a disappointment! You can barely can tell the general shape of objects. If I could return it, I would, but I threw away the packaging (since I did not expect the need to return).

Low quality, must pay extra

Must pay extra to use any function other than live viewing. Not worth the price on something better and cheaper online.

Does not connect to WiFi

Poor customer support

Not good as canary all in one

Decent Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Canary view is a good security camera, I had zero problems with it. I did not like that for two-way talk you needed to pay the subscription, but that is the sacrifice you make when picking one of these cloud enabled cameras. Unfortunately, I did not feel like $10 was worth the price of the subscription. As far as the camera itself, I felt like it performed decently well. It is Wifi Only and it is a fixed camera system. So no pan or tilt, however I did find that the wide angle lens got a decent view of my living room area. The person detection was adequate as well las the motion sensing. The application is really easy to use and allowed setting up the camera relatively quickly. If you want to pay for the subscription you get some added benefits such as 30 days, desktop viewing, and others. Overall, the camera is really good. Subscription or not, you get some nice security features and a crisp image that you can view around the world. Security is important and this is a good tool in ensuring your house is secure. Can even quickly contact first responders through the application.
