Lags a lot and ended up returning for normal Home security camera. Most have the same features and more awhile being more user friendly and lag a lot less. Customer support was not responsive during my attempts to reach them, so that was not very encouraging for a long term keep.

Slowest and most overpriced camera. Get a wyze cam instead

Not something I would install in my home counting as a protection deterrent. It hides away as a camera very well but a little to well. Because trying to connect the device you can’t even get it up and running in 5mins. Not to mention when you do it drops the WiFi signal ever now and again.

I have 2 of these; one bought in PA in June - I was very happy with it. Then I bought another one in Ky. What a disappointment! You can barely can tell the general shape of objects. If I could return it, I would, but I threw away the packaging (since I did not expect the need to return).

Camera was very low quality, especially if it was facing a window and sunlight the shining through. Must pay extra to use any function other than live viewing. Not worth the price on something better and cheaper online.

Very slow to bring up in app when you are text messaged

Attempted multiple times to connect to my WiFi (2.4 GHz) and for some reason it is not communicating. Bad or a previously returned device perhaps?

Stay away from this product, Canary has poor customer support when you have any difficulties. Only good thing is Best Buy stood behind their customer and gave a full refund

Canary all in one is better than canary view big time, canary all in one is built in serine plus sensor for air quality, on top of that it's cheaper.

I call Canery about the issues with this problem and they don't help at all. So stuck with product that doesn't work.

Canary send me notifications very late and video isn't great. Buy an Arlo or Ring. Disappointed.

The Canary view is a good security camera, I had zero problems with it. I did not like that for two-way talk you needed to pay the subscription, but that is the sacrifice you make when picking one of these cloud enabled cameras. Unfortunately, I did not feel like $10 was worth the price of the subscription. As far as the camera itself, I felt like it performed decently well. It is Wifi Only and it is a fixed camera system. So no pan or tilt, however I did find that the wide angle lens got a decent view of my living room area. The person detection was adequate as well las the motion sensing. The application is really easy to use and allowed setting up the camera relatively quickly. If you want to pay for the subscription you get some added benefits such as 30 days, desktop viewing, and others. Overall, the camera is really good. Subscription or not, you get some nice security features and a crisp image that you can view around the world. Security is important and this is a good tool in ensuring your house is secure. Can even quickly contact first responders through the application.

While trouble shooting also read of how poor the service has gotten over time. Make sure to read up before investing in cameras.

Very poor connection quality and performance,this is my second one after canary warrant its performance.

Took it out of the box and could not it pair even after I called support.. I am going to try to take it back!
