    I have an original Canary camera that I use to watch my front door. Saw this model in a Black Friday ad and decided it was worth a try for monitoring my garage entrance. It was really easy to setup from my phone with the bluetooth, and I can use the same membership plan as my first Canary without having to pay extra. The picture is very sharp, and I feel more protected now.

    I needed an affordable, easy to use security cam setup and Canary View was exactly what I was looking for. Extremely easy to set up, great quality video and overall definitely a product I would recommend.

    On reading an online review I found that "your timeline is limited to 24 hours and you can only view video “clips” within that frame..." BUT, "By subscribing to Canary Membership, you’ll extend your timeline to 30 days of history and the View will record full videos that last the length of the activity rather than just snippets. A membership also activates two-way talk so you can remotely communicate with anyone in your home rather than just talk at them. ...Membership is $9.99 per month or $99 annually for the first five devices"...rediculous, no SD card or self storage.

    With having 2 dogs and never being home, this was a perfect fit for our needs. We can check in on the pups and our housekeeper anytime. You just feel safer knowing there!!

    Do not buy this thing!

    During the past two days I have tried to connect this device to my new wifi modem. There are no phone numbers to talk with a cust. service rep. directly. You have to send text msgs back and forth. After a total of about 3 hrs doing this the cust service rep told me they couldn't help me. If I could return this thing I would. My advice is just do not buy it!

    I don't like this product because no phone customer support night vision is poor picture is in black and white monthly subscription is to high and delayed motion detection

    Setup customer service is terrible

    I can't get it setup. Every article online is useless (just look at how every article says at the bottom "700 people out of 7,000 found this article useful). I contacted customer service but they just say it's my device or modem even though I don't have issues connecting to them with all other devices.
