This battery grip is totally worth it! I held off for a while because of the price, but eventually pulled the plug and price matched it to B&H. I figured it would last long, but just two batteries in my grip lasted more than 8 hours! I am so impressed. I don't know how it makes the batteries last longer, but it does.

This camera is pretty big and adding the grip does add to that. I have big hands and I find the bulk of it helps me steady hand held macro shots very well. Finding a bag that it fits in nicely has been a challenge, a lot of the bags aren’t designed to hold a camera with a grip attached.

This grip adds excellent battery life, but it also adds a decent amount of weight to the camera.

This adds additional operational functions when taking pictures vertically or horizontal with the additional buttons. This grip doesn’t include the batteries or charger. It does add extra weight to the camera. It can be used with a tripod or monopod.

The pack came with a bundle. I had one on a canon 7d and with the pack being offered with the camera it was a definite plus. Allows rotating the camera and still having buttons where they normally would be (more than just a battery grip).

This is a great addition to my camera. I appreciate having the extra battery life when I’m out shoot. Would recommend this item.

I was skeptical when I initially looked into getting a battery grip, but now that I've used it I love it. Although it does make the camera heavy, it is very easy to attach and means you have to switch out batteries half as often.

I like the battery grip. All the buttons work fine on it and it looks cool. Having such a big and well built camera/grip makes my other dslr feel like a toy now. Plus what's not to like about it when it came free with the camera

Battery grips are a must for all my camera bodys, they help extend battery life when out shooting as well as make it much more comfortable to handle. I do not shoot without one!

Feels amazing in the hands, and just love how beautiful it goes with my Canon 5D Mark IV. Love it's vertical hold so you can easily take vertical pictures. And definitely love the extra weight for some apparent reason.

I use this battery pack when I travel or when I will be shooting all day long. I never have to worry about the battery life of my camera on any shoot. Would recommend especially for the 5D mark iv.

DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERIES. FYI this is just the grip and you put 2 canon batteries inside of it. Hope that helps anyone who was questioning that before they purchase

This battery pack came in handy when I do wedding photography! Any long shoot days, you definitely will need this pack!!
