I've used color laser printers for years. When my current color laser broke down I decided I needed a more "office" quality workhorse. The Canon MF726CDW had gotten excellent reviews, and I trolled all of the office sites to read them. It has proven to be a great decision. The printer is fast, surprising quiet, and provides a number of value-adds, like a great scanner, copier, and everything just works so well. I am sold on Canon, and when Best Buy matched the other guy's price that was frosting on the cake. Love it! One important note: It is a heavy beast (almost 70 pounds) so make sure you have a proper space and support for it. That said, I would not hesitate to get another Canon and I have recommended this model to my friends and business colleagues. You won't regret it.

I picked this up for $279 on sale, which is a good deal. The printer and scanner work awesome. Fairly quiet. Good connectivity with my iPhone. The have a decent free app for this. My two big gripes are this thing is HEAVY. 82lbs to be exact. You will need help lifting this into place. The other gripe is the cost of consumables. Canon wants over $500 for a set of toner cartridges for this (4 of them). That is ridiculous. You can get generics for $50 to 80, but the quality is a roll of the dice.

Set-up was easy enough, after I called the support line, but my printer is working very nicely through wifi, prints from my laptop and also from my phone, super clear copies with vibrant color. Pretty quiet, very heavy as I carried it and unboxed it by myself without any issues. I love this printer, I do photo transfers onto wood and needed a laser printer to do so, after comparing printers and reading reviews I decided on this model and I am so glad I did. Very happy with this model.

Printer was very heavy but it works like a charm. It has been a month since I bought it, no issues. I like the touch screen and all other features, auto duplex, scan, wifi etc. Based on my research this was the best among all other competitor printers both price and feature wise

I love this thing. It was a little bigger than I expected, but I guess I didn't look at the pictures too close. When I look at them now it seems to be represented accurately. I did need to read the directions to get the wireless printing set up. Not really a negative since it was pretty easy to do once I read, but I'm starting to expect everything to have an app and make setup automatic anymore. That being said, I don't buy a lot of printers and my guess is this set up was no worse than any other printer and much easier than the last one I bought. The print quality is fine. Don't really have anything to compare it to but you won't catch me complaining. I haven't tried scanning or anything. I have a scan snap on my desk so no point in it. I am using this at home, but it feels like it is more of an office printer, or at least it wouldn't be out of place in an office. All the toner colors have their own cartridge. That probably mean it won't be that expensive to operate. It's a printer, so I'm not all that excited about it, but I'm perfectly happy. I don't know what a printer could do to get me excited so there you have it. I would buy it again. So should you ;-)

Easy set up, wireless, color printing, scanner and fax. Great performance and price

This 21 ppm, full duplex, fax, scan, copier is great for the money. Even if not on sale, I say the faster engine (21 vs 14 ppm) and automatic duplex is worth the $150 premium over the next step down - mfc628Cw. The scanner is great for everyday use and home photo scanning. However, I recommend a stand-alone if you need high-end photography scanning. Photo printing is the same. I find it acceptable for 8x10s at home and real estate flyers. It will not work for larger (11x14 size limit) or a Photographer. Many features helpful for a small business - secure printing, cloud printing, email / fax directory (300 addresses each). The toner is a little more expensive than the step down but also is rated for almost twice is many prints; so it is actually cheaper if the counts are correct. Definitely happy with the purchase.

This is a great unit and you won't be disappointed. The first one we purchased would not pickup paper, so we took it back and they immediately shipped a replacement. I kept this at 5 stars because we need to understand that sometimes mechanical products fail. It's part of life. Don't sweat the small stuff!

The Canon - Color Imageclass Mf726cdw helped me get rid of a cluttered desk of a scanner, laser and photo printer. I didn't really need color but was impressed with the color from the laser printer. The wireless setup was very easy with the touch-screen. Printing has worked from apple and android devices well.

Setup is fast and easy including wi-fi. Ink prints thousands of pages out of he box and replacements are very reasonable. Prints fast in color or black and white and he text is so vivid it almost comes off the page and colors are sharp and vivid. A+

This printer was shockingly small for all that it does. It is quick and runs very smoothly!

The print quality on this unit is great. It was easy to set-up. However, it is quite large and heavy. I would only recommend it for office/small business use. I recommend a smaller unit for home use.

I bought this to do all three well and easily. AirPrint has been a bit hit or miss, but I have Printopia installed on my Mac, and that works well most of the time to allow me to print to my Canon or a PDF to my Mac (from my iPhone or iPad). I can also FAX from either my iPhone or iPad. Don't be surprised if you have to consult the 'online' (on your computer in PDF format) manual several times to understand how to set things up correctly at the beginning. Overall, though, the MF726Cdw does a magnificent job with all three tasks for which it was designed.

Although it arrived damaged, I still kept it. It works fine. Easy to set up. WiFi works most of the time. Print quality is good.

This printer is great for a high quality, inexpensive color laser printing solution.

After my third HP inkjet self imploded in less than two years, I decided to go for a color laser and for a Canon. This printer was on sale at Best Buy and all I can say is wow... this is a serious office printer. Beautiful color documents and photos FAST. I find the scanning to be a little light but I am sure it's just some settings I need to mess with. Great manual, extremely well made. Be warned. This puppy is not light. I threw my back out setting this thing on its table myself. Do yourself a favor... get a friend to help you.

I got this printer on sale for about $300 below list price. If you can get this deal, TAKE IT! it was easy to set up and the print quality is great! I love it!

I was impressed with the reviews for print quality and wireless capability. Wireless capability leaves something to be desired. Wireless feature does not stay on. You have to re-establish a connection each time you print. As a matter of fact front panel does not allow wireless feature as a option. This feature was only accessible upon initial set up. I can only print wirelessly from my iPad. Printing wirelessly from my laptop is a daunting process to say the least. I have a small Epson inkjet printer & I can print wirelessly from an upstairs office as well as from any room in the house. This has not been the case with this Canon model. If you want a printer for print quality, this is a good choice. However, if wireless capability is what you want, this model Canon is not the one. The manufacturer should recall and replace it with a wireless from the box functioning model.

Excellent printer. Lots of options. Color prints come out great and quick. Printer is heavy. So put in good location to limit moving around.
