I was worried that I would not be able to use my other camera lenses with my new camera. Now I can! This adapter is easy to use.

I bought this to adapt lenses to an R5 MK2. I'm not impressed. I have 3 lenses I mostly use. An EF 16-35 II F2.8. That one is ok but I replaced it with the compatible 15-35 because of the IS. I have a 100-400 that performs poorly with this adapter. The lens IS doesn't work at all and I can't tell if the in camera one does. Third I have a 24-70 F2.8. This lens has not been used a lot and doesn't work at all with the adapter on the R5 MK2. I get an error o1 lens and camera not communicating clean contacts. The clean contacts message is ridiculous to begin with. Canon service described why and suggested service. Of course. This lens works perfectly with the 5D MK4 I purchased it for. I'd think about getting the more expensive adapter but so far I can't find anything telling me what is different about them.

Not much needed to say about this adapter. If you have an R system camera with EF lenses this is a great adapter. I use all my EF lenses with this adapter and notice no speed or performance issue

Got an EOS R for personal uses but since I also use canon professional, I grabbed this adapter to use my other lenses as well. It worked seamlessly and makes the value in having mirrorless and full frame even more!

Was easily able to convert over to my mirrorless Canon camera without having to buy all new lenses for my EOS R6. All the lenses are maintained the same picture quality if not better.

Upgraded the wife to a R6 and didn’t know they changed the mounting layout for canon lenses with the new generation. This adapter allowed us to use her old expensive lens without losing any quality of photo.

You probably need this as the RF lens selection is pretty sparse / expensive. Works flawlessly, have adapted a few different lenses from the nifty fifty to big lenses like the 70-200 f2.8, focusing is instant, IS works as well as on the EF mount

I recently purchased the Canon EOS RP mirrorless camera body which included the Canon EF-EOS R Lens Mount Adapter. This allows me to use all of my Canon EF lenses with the RP body with no loss of functionality, or image quality. A really useful tool!

Its works with my old EF lens, some of them working better than with my 80D. There is a crop on some of the EF lens when using with the R5, just beware, saves a lot of money not having to upgrade to all new glass

This product worked very well will the Canon R6 I purchased. It has been very easy to get on and off. I having seen any change in the operation. Seems to fit very well. I have used it with the canon 85mm.

I was afraid this was going to be bulky, but it's not bad at all! I barely remember it's there when I have it on my Canon R6. If you have ES lens with a mirrorless body, it's a must-have!
