Perfect fit. I always stick w canon OEM products even though Amazon is rife with fakes as they always function as intended.

Must have if you are transitioning from dslr to RF system. I’d skip the gimmicky control ring adapter and get this plain Jane one for 100 bucks. Every lens I’ve adapted has worked seamlessly and autofocus is super snappy.

Perfect for using non RF lenses on a mirror less from Canon.
Works seamlessly and is perfectly compatible. I’m currusing this mount to connect my non RF prime lens 50mm to my R8 and the results are great.

Adapter works way better then expected. Thought it would be a horrible experience like adapters are with sony mirrorless. However this adapter makes canon ef glass focus just as fast as native rf lenses do from the lenses I've tested. This also makes ef lenses focus faster on the rp then canons DSLR in my experience. Highly recommend this adapter.

This is PERFECT for my older lenses. I did not have to buy the rediculous priced RF lenses and my old lenses work even better with this adaprot and the R8

I returned this only because I found the one that was lost… someone found it and turned it into the venues lost and found. But I use this adapter for the EF 135mm that isn’t on RF yet.
I’ve tried other 3rd party brands and it’s not worth it.

I just transitioned from the Canon M5 mirrorless to the Canon RP, so this works great with the lenses I currently own. No need to purchase any new R lenses.

I had to buy this mount to be able to use my collection of EF lenses when I bought the R5. Compared to the RF counterpart lens that I have tried and experimented, personally the EF+mount combination is not as good in many fronts. Having made the switch to mirrorless, I don't think I would ever go back to DSLR, so eventually I would be looking into slowly replacing into RF lenses.
For anyone who is deeply invested in EF lenses like myself, this is of course a quick and cheap solution for the mirrorless transition, but if not, I would consider purchasing RF lenses even though they are almost twice as expensive as their EF counterparts.

This works great and allows me to use my older Canon lenses. I have so many lenses I have two of these to use with both my mirror-less cameras. Easy to use.

I am so happy that this is a thing. I had a EF telephoto lens (that was very expensive) left from an old camera that I had sold. I wanted to upgrade to a mirrorless camera but a comparable lens would have been an additional $2500. For $100 this ring allows me to use my EF lens on my RP camera and it works great.
